I think it's a good investment if you're exclusively using it for PSN purchases (since you earn reward points for doing so, which can then be used for future PSN purchases/subscriptions). So long as you're responsible and pay the amounts on time, which is the case with any credit card you own.
Ugh the one time I thought I could grab a card after work to but sine Mora on sale because the update will be at like 7 it updates mega early. Bastards.

Yeah, that has happened to me twice. Luckily, the one time it was Journey, which came back on sale a month later.
Oh wow, they really fucked up the marketing for Enslaved. I always thought it was an average game at best with little character development but I'm glad to be proven wrong. The relationship between Trip and Monkey is done perfectly, just enough given to let you put it all together yourself.
The world is also stunning. Only negative is the framerate. Was this a ps 3 exclusive title? Trying to work out why it never released on PC.
Here is the Update Post even though I am super tired.

So, no real surprises here. Get in on the sales this week if you're going to, since the bulk of them are going bye-bye next week. We already covered Darkstalkers: Resurrection, and the Imports are pretty neat. Scott Pilgrim finally got the Online Multi-player treatment...through the DLC that just came out today. If you're into that, it is on sale for Plus members and might be worth it for the new content as well as making the game 10x more replayable since online beat-em-ups are so much fun.
I've still got that free $10 sitting in my wallet.
Kinda debating whether to get I am Alive or Rayman Origins. I tried the 1 hour trial, and I can't say my socks were knocked off, but it was still decent fun.
I am Alive I've heard is pretty short, but I did find the demo pretty interesting. I'm kind of a sucker for the whole apocalyptic survival angle they got going on.
"The sausage of Green Earth explodes with flavor like the cannon of culinary delight."
Nope, it was a UE3 (hence the framerate) game on PS3/360. It didn't get a PC port because it was published by Namco.
Personally, I found the dialogue, voice acting and some of the facial animations to be pretty good but otherwise, eh, it was pretty mediocre. Gameplay's sloppy, level design was weak and the story was pretty poor.
Anyway, the US gets their Ubisoft sale and us PALs get a RE sale:

Man, I'm wondering what the intent was behind GungHo putting untranslated PSOne RPGs on the imports category. I mean, I get that's what the category is for, but man, what an extremely specific market they're targeting.
Still, it's not like it likely takes that much effort to pop something over from the Japan PSN, whatever money they bring in with those must have been projected to be more than whatever Sony charges for the effort, I suppose.
A fair bit of stuff, Darkstalkers is probably the thing that will get most people excited.
But getting new Sound Shapes & Sleeping Dogs DLC is pretty neat as well.

Chris Kohler was on Twitter saying what a smart idea it was. Oh, a Japanese-literate weeabu who frequently mocks people with poor pronunciation of Japanese is totally behind this? I'M SHOCKED.
Weeaboo. If you're going to make him look like a schmuck, then don't let him one up you.

I'm all for J-PSN imports. Heck, I've bought some right off the J-store. But at least release stuff that is playable without a language barrier, or is at least easy enough to adjust to, like shmups or action games.
The stuff they chose is baffling, and I pray Victor Ireland's promises of translated gems proves true at some point.
@Wolfman: Eternal Punishment is $10, and the best RPG on the PS1. You'll definitely get 50 hours out of it, easy.
Darkstalkers Demo did not sell me on the game at all. I thought it was supposed to be an HD up port? Or does the demo not show that?
its the same thing as Third Strike, Jojo, and Marvel vs Capcom Origins. theres no redone sprites or anything. there are various filters you can turn on if you want. plus theres the well implemented online play, and the challenges and stuff.
Hot damn, just got the $50 PSN credit from my email. Going to have my PS3 on all day during work to download Ni No Kuni (I'll be surprised if it finishes by the time I get back though).
Screw all you guys that didn't like Enslaved, I thought it was a fantastic game. It was also very pretty in 3D (360). And I liked the story, the whole world and the ending, weird as it was.
Uh, is there a site that sells EU PSN cards, like PlayAsia for JP? I would LOVE Maken Shao on my PS3.
If you log into the Sony entertainment network with your EU account, can you add funds to your wallet for that account through Paypal?
I've not tried it myself but maybe worth investigating?

Okay wow, so the version of Darkstalkers 3, in resurrection is like the only one of the million different releases they've done of the game that doesn't include Pyron, Donovan, or Huitzel. My three favorites
Yeah, I was hoping for that $10 bonus myself as if I was entitled (I did buy the system at launch), even though they're probably sending them out at random.
On the upside, thanks to that rewards card I only had to pay $5 for Ni No Kuni, and it should qualify me for the $10 promotion for spending $50 this month.
I just hope they sort out their PS4 BC controversy so that I can somehow play this game on the new system too.
