Just now, I got a mental image of George Lucas sprawled on a pile of 16mm reels, VHS tapes and laserdiscs, in the manner of a dragon on a treasure pile.
If my art skills weren't so lacklustre, I might have been tempted to draw it. I may try, anyway.
Good news for everyone out there with Dish Network and a lack of special programming subscriptions. The Hub will be completely free as a trial preview from the 4th of October all the way to the 3rd of November.
In other words, no more fighting for a livestream! Just turn on your TV and watch pony when it airs.

While I've been on the fence about rooting my Droid Eris, this is pretty much going to push me over the edge. Eris's run 2.1, but they broke the live wallpaper functionality.

Haha I love it, I have RD, Twilight, Rarity and Princess Luna setup right now. Running it at 15 fps seems fine, I'll have to fiddle around with it to figure out how to download more ponies later as I think I need to have Fluttershy hiding behind icons and such. Hopefully it doesn't murder the battery too much.
I just watched that. You know, I can't shake the feeling that that guy is a complete and utter dickhead. There were red flags all over the place. Everything from the mumbling "blah blah blah" while introducing the core IP, and little phrases like "When I got hired, I didn't want to go anywhere near the rabbit". He talked about about having to make systematic changes to the "core" to freshen up the IP, and then says that the Roadrunner cartoon was untouched and nearly won them an Oscar.
The whole thing seems more like a pitch to substantiate his job then really announcing anything.

Not sure about battery life, but I noticed if I leave it to one pony and resize it to 2 the app becomes 20% cooler.
so a little over one week of no new episode and neogaf thread imploded. not locked or anything, but massive arguing of pent up frustrations that had been building up for months

This was surprisingly well-done. Rainbow Dash's voice is really straining for it, but that Pinkie Pie is spot on.

As a fan of both Epic Meal Time and FiM, I somewhat enjoyed this.
Somewhat = loved like I'd never loved before.
I do find it sad I get it on one of the Spanish channels here a long with a lot of other cartoons but still no Hub
