So Luna was a hit on NicoNico. They translated her how I thought they would, with really esoteric "royal" Japanese. The shifts in speech are more pronounced when she tries to speak "commoner". The language issue seemed to "work" better in Japanese because even today higher-ups in the social ladder tend speak different than the lower class.
Also as Halloween is kinda an American cultural thing, they got a peek into some "unique", if stylized culture
The time when Luna was in front of her Nightmare Moon statue. It was written a little more poignant. It was more elaborated on as a character building point. Luna was also talking a little more "commoner", making her look a little more weak. The the language shift to a softer tone is, once again, more pronounced.
The subber tends writes the lines a little more "adult" than the English lets on. Sometimes he (or she) is making a joke a little more overt, or using colloquialisms that young kids don't use. (Example, when Spike says that the rainbow wig is just killing the mood. But then again, that's a little more smartly written in English too.)
Things caught... "Where the hell is Rarity?" and "Did Celestia tell her anything! What kind of a sister is that?" There was also the elephant in the room that Cele-sama banished her own sister for 1000 years... and What's up with that?
Tara Strong (Twilight Sparkle's VA) is/was on the NSFW show tonight. Scheduled for 8:00 PST on the TWiT calendar, but it seems to have started at 7:00 on the livestream.
Currently doing a bunch of voices to iPhone autocorrect mistakes. Haven't heard Twilight as of yet.
Man, I have lost about 80% enthusiasm to draw pony art. I think its cause the recent ATG themes require more than just one piece of art to portray.
Theme this week is a pony solving a mystery
ha, this is so true. Honestly I just don't really care about the ATG themes anymore and do whatever.
I just restarted working on my mega comic thing that I decided to do in june, based on the themes from the first one. I've been... stalling, till lately.
More season 3 rumors. Not sure I like the sound of people leaving, it being ugly and only 13 episodes though...Granted, I'd rather have it be a Cowboy Bebop than a Simpsons.

I somehow doubt they are going to chancel FiM anytime soon.
It practically costs nothing to produce and it created a huge phenomena (ponies are everywhere nowadays). Hasbro could have never dreamed of so much free advertisement and brand recognition without it.
The only question if the popularity of the show helps pushing the toyline. But as long as the products sell and the ratings are fine, there's little reason to not continue. Really, it'd be insane to stop now.
As for the writes leaving, can we get a list of the episodes they penned? I'm curious about that.
The screenshots don't specifically mention anyone who left aside from Lauren Faust (which we knew of months ago) and Rob Renzetti, a story editor and not a writer.

Yeah, Megan McCarthy seems to like writing the psycho.
On the other hand the other psycho episodes are sort of evenly spread between the various writers (Best Night Ever, Return of Harmony, Feeling Pinkie Keen).
P.S: Chris Savino is definitely Quality over Quantity. Only two episodes written, but they're among my absolute favorites.

Ugh comics, how do I do? I have a bunch of cool stories I would like to do in comic form but don't know how to start it off. -.-

It has to end sometime. I called it out to my friends that it will end on Season 3, as much as I'd like to not believe myself.

"A wave of sheer joy blasting out of the chatroom" was an understatement.
She said "I love bronies!" in the chatroom. It was like a million fanboys and girls squeeing in delight, before being silenced.
Technically, only Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash should be able to play on it.
Anyway, I was looking up some Two Best Friends Play videos, and turns out one of them has Ponies in it.
Just skip to 11 minutes in if you don't want to watch the rest of it.
Hmmmmm, maybe I too shall do whatevs as well.....but with ponies. Or atleast do the ATGs that I can do a good piece for.
That's just embarrassing. I mean, how do you get are and is mixed up like that? "Why is there ponies?"

Oh my god I just watched these dudes play Catherine. I coughed up a lung laughing so hard.
