Joomla - Multi language option in editor?

I'm wondering if it is possible in Joomla to select what language you want to type in and what editor or extension allows this. So far my search only talks about translation extensions which I don't need. The users of the site want the option to type in English but some would like to write in the editor using a non Roman character language. I have the foreign character pack installed. I just need the option to select that language when writing up an article. Any help would be greatly appreciated
