You and Darian are probably the two strongest players overall. At least the ones I'm personally most worried about playing against. But it's also extra satisfying winning against you, on rare occasions.
So I hope we end up on opposite ends of the map :P
Well, I can honestly say that I am terrible at Diplomacy, because it requires a very different skill set from other strategy games. I've never won a game.

Jakobagger, if you have a couple hours of down time, or are doing things like working out, I'd suggest listening to the DiplomacyCast.com episode #3 that covers Italy. It's a really good listen and hopefully helps you out some. You can stop listening once Power Play is over if you want to cut it short. After that, it's an interview with a really famous Diplomacy player.

If I'm reading the options that were selected correctly, if we all lock in our orders then the game will process those orders at that time or at the deadline, whichever comes first.
