Well, there's North America, EU Nordic and EU Everywhere else that's not Nordic.
(also, referral link in my sig)
Yeah I got that. I don't see Australia fitting into any of those categories, do you? Anyways, signed up as an NA account using your referral. Not sure if you're gonna get anything out of it as I don't see myself spending money but hey, stranger things have happened!

All you have to do is get to level 5(very easy and quick to do) to give him the bonuses available from a referral.
CorriganX on Steam and just about everywhere else.
Cool, hopefully there's something in it for you then.
So is the community for this game as toxic as DotA? I used to play that a bit but loathed the whole thing after a while, despite really liking the idea of the game type. I am getting in to this on recommendation of a friend so I have really not done any reading on LoL or anything. I did see a vid about Dominion that looked pretty good recently.
LoL isn't usually seen AS BAD as Dota, but theres a LOT of assholes. Luckily you can just /mute all and not deal with them. Play your best, and you'll naturally find an equilibrium with your ELO.

Tree, as much as I like watching you stream, if you keep leaving base after buying with 200-500 missing HP I'm liable to choke you.

"as toxic as DotA" would be like drinking an ocean full of hydrochloric acid. LoL is more like drinking a small cup of hydrochloric acid; it's not nearly as bad but still terrible.
I think the reason I'm enjoying dominion so much is because, as opposed to SR, there is the added level of "is it worth it to fight this person, even if I die" as opposed to "can I kill this guy?"

Stalling and being a jerk is a totally valid tactic if you are up.
Fighting random people in the middle of the map is typically a questionable idea if you are not holding more points.

I agree completely.
I rage hard at people who get three points, then start wandering in the middle. HOLD A POINT, OR AT LEAST TAG ALONG WITH ALLIES. DONT RUN AROUND AND GET GANKED.
Blegh. I am all patched and up to date and everything, I enter my username + password in the launcher, hit play and... black screen. After a while the music does start.
Google seems no help. Anyone had a similar problem and manage to fix it?
So man, I'm actually having fun with Dominion. It might be because it's all I'm willing to play, but damn.
Also, I have discovered Master Yi. After playing with Garen for so long I was a little sadfaced to see someone else on my team pick him... and I just randomed. Got Yi.
Holy shit that game was awesome. Over 1700 points, 14 kills, 4 deaths, 7 assists, 11 killing spree.
Also, after a series of terrible teams it's nice to get one that knows how the game works. It's amazing how much difference the mindset of "capturing points > chasing enemies" makes. Also, Teemo continues being hilarious good fun.

Hah, the awesome game I just described had that exact problem. The Garen that picked him before me? Kept going on about how he felt "like a one man team"
well maybe if he wasn't gallivanting on the enemy side he'd feel a little bit more togetherness, considering the rest of us were keeping our side locked the fuck down.

He is a believer that you need to constantly be not full mana/health so that you aren't wasting your regens.
But he buys mana pots so what does he know?!

Leaving your base with 100-150 missing HP and mana is generally fine.
I'm going to demand to play Cait in every ranked game. Doesn't matter if I have 2 kills and 30cs on my top lane opponent if the enemy Vayne has 5 kills by the end of laning

I thought Morgana had her own bakery? Shouldn't she be really good at cooking?
Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if Labor had not first existed. Labor is superior to capital, and deserves much the higher consideration. - Lincoln
Singed isn't op man, you just have to realize you can't chase singed, and you can't fight singed. And if he wants to he can chase you past 3 towers and kill you.
So I think Maokai is a really interesting character, he just doesn't click for me. I haven't had a single game with him (4 or so played) where I didn't feel like a detriment to my team. Maybe I"ll give him another look next time he's free.
However, I just gave Rumble a try in a bot match and he was incredibly fun. Is he a viable, competitive champ? The idea of a melee mage is a bit odd to me, how best to build him?

Just avoid those things and you are fine.
this isn't really true though
unless you spend the entire game behind towers I guess

Singed is pretty weak until level 6, that is the time to beat his ass, put a ranged person in the lane against him
Also if you are squishy, don't get close to Singed during a teamfight

I repeat, this was true of Singed from ages ago, when his ult didn't give him CC immunity.
The singed of today, however, is among a few people I truly consider OP in this game, along with Talon, who's basically Akali on crack, and Jax, who by the way needs a serious rework removing dodge and all.
How often do skins go on sale, or does it basically vary. There's a couple I like, some seem new some very old. In guessing something like overlord malzahar (just released) could be a very long time, if ever, if I waited for a sale. Its just hard to drop that 975 RP, until my decision making gets lubed up with alcohol
So guys what are some important tips to remember for playing Anivia? I have all of the runes(except for the slots not open to me), but I thin I heard that she had a kind of steep learning curve.
There's usually always two skins on sale at any one time in my experience. Or at least from monday/tuesday to friday. But yeah if you're hoping for a specific skin you could be waiting a while. Given the price though, I would never buy any skins that weren't on sale. So my tactic is just to not buy any unless I see a really awesome on on sale.

The main deal I think is that she is the squishiest character in the game, she has the lowest base hp of everyone and is in the bottom 10 or so for base armour value. That and mastering the use and placement of her ice wall.

I love Irelia on Dominion but I'm not sure rushing a Triforce is the way to go. Can anyone weigh in, maybe? I think she's my favorite champ for the mode so far.
However, I just gave Rumble a try in a bot match and he was incredibly fun. Is he a viable, competitive champ?
Yes, Rumble is still retarded even after his slight nerfs
I usually build him starting with boots and 3 health pots, rhylais starting with giants belt, sorc shoes, banshees or sunfire depending on what their biggest threat is, then abyssal scepter/deathcap/hourglass/voidstaff/whatever ap shit your heart desires
some people like to get a hextech revolver first for sustain, which I used to do, but I really dont anymore
max flamespitter first, then I usually max harpoon after unless I feel like I need the bigger shield
