So guys what are some important tips to remember for playing Anivia? I have all of the runes(except for the slots not open to me), but I thin I heard that she had a kind of steep learning curve.
I would say that probably you should try to avoid poking with her Q, as it's incredibly easy to dodge. She works best as a force multiplier with other stun or gap-closer champs. You should be looking for enemies to commit so you can reliably land a stun.
Go mid. If you're getting pressured out of lane, max Q for easy farming from 1100 range. Otherwise, max E.
To handle any sort of extended engagement where you expect to storm a lot, she needs either blue, some hefty mana regen like an Archangel's Staff, or be on Dominion.
You might also want to consider leveling wall to 2 or 3 before Q, as level 1 wall kind of sucks, and higher levels of Q cost very, very large amounts of mana.
I build her mana crystal+pots->catalyst->boots 1/boots 2/RoA->Deathcap->RoA/Abyssal/Hourglass/Void Staff/WotA. You can start with an early Tear to help her mana issues, but I get better results rushing a Deathcap.
I love Irelia on Dominion but I'm not sure rushing a Triforce is the way to go. Can anyone weigh in, maybe? I think she's my favorite champ for the mode so far.

Wondering aloud if I could pull off AP Leona... probably not, but AP + CDR on Leona... Sounds kinda neat in theory.

Gunblade Ezreal didn't work. At this point I'm not sure why I still care about this game after such an hellish weekend. To recap after right now: TWENTY FUCKING LOSSES and four wins. I know there's a lot of talk about "the only constant in your games is you", but for god sake it's fucking surreal, it's like my play heavily degraded after twelve hours of sleep plus I'm grabbing all the criminally insane people on my team and the enemy all gets the reincarnations of Doublelift. It does not make sense. It's fucking absurd. I should not lose games like this so why it fucking happens?
edit: why build AP on Leona? Her ratios are pure concentrated shit, you're better off with a ton of CDR because her skills doesn't cost that much and becomes spammable.

Well I decided for an hybrid build because of unforeseen circumstances* or else I would have just went either AD or on-hit. Not sure if the last one can work.
*Basically our AP thought it would be insanely funny to have a grand total of FOUR AD by switching from Veigar to Tristana.
My one and only penta out of 2000 games played is on Hybrid Ezreal.
I would hazard to guess this was kind of circumstantial and not really because hybrid is any good?
I see so little value to it, the ratios are so bad.
Do you understand what makes a ratio good?
There's no need for snark or condescension, I never pretended to be great at this game.
They're just such low numbers that your raw DPS in any situation seems a whole lot better dumping your money into AD and armor pen.
The question was meant to be taken at face value.
Ratios are good in generally two ways, one is in total ratios being applied in a strong single spell rotation burst. The other is in sustained damage through low cooldowns constantly applying your item investment over the course of an engagement.
Ezreal has good combined AD + AP ratios on all his skills in addition to their base values being good; the reason Ezreal scales well, hybrid and AP wise, is because of his non-linear cooldown reduction through his mystic shot. That is to say he gains more cooldown reduction than what the percentage implies, because his Q gives a flat cooldown reduction on top of the percentage cooldown through buffs and items. Combined with the cost effectiveness of hybrid items (they have to be), he is constantly leveraging his item investment over the course of a fight.
Hybrid Ezreal has good auto attacks, good skills and a great ult that quickly passes 1000 AoE damage on a global skillshot. Gunblade is core and it's sustain and active work very well with him.
Note in this case he is a hybrid mage and not a hard physical auto attack carry.
Edit: Give Ezreal blue buff so that he can focus on damage items.

In other news, I pressed the big red 'PLAY' button enough to hit level 30 just now, on an insanely laggy match where I played a sort-of-okay Malphite. It was a pretty good Malphite I think, when you consider the lag. Yay, go me, I can play the actual game of LoL now and not the weird not-game I was playing before.

This game is completely fucking unenjoyable, I see my teammates do the dumbest shit imaginable (HAI I AM LOW HEALTH EZREAL LET ME ENTER A BUSH I RECENTLY SAW A WARWICK ENTER HERP DERP DURF HURF) and all I can do is scream at my incompetence and how no matter what I do I can't carry four people on myself. Even with an awesome early game and stomping I'm going to lose anyway.

you can get away with a maokai style rod of ages + some dorans + abyssal type build if you get fed tho
