The spot we went to is actually in that video where the guy jumps and gives the other one a high five. We jumped from the lower position where the guy is standing his his hand in the air.
I am sorry but if the music involves an electric guitar I see no reason to hear it live. It's just the same shit (or more likely the same shit but slightly worse) coming out of speakers much louder than usual.
Did you know that someone could strangle you for this and it wouldn't even be considered a crime? It's true!
It's the law.
You realize that nobody needs a reason to strangle you, right?

When I saw Atlantis (The Disney movie) in theaters, by the end I was so annoyed by the overabundance of cuts (and if I was even noticing that, it should tell you all you need to know about how engaged I was with what was happening in the film), that I started counting in my head the length of each shot, and I found almost no shots lasted more than 5 seconds. Now I have actual proof that it has an average shot length of 4 seconds and a median of 2.7, awesome.
Of course, these facts have no practical value whatsoever, and all this database really has told me is that older movies generally have more longer shots than newer movies, which everyone already knows, and that shot length doesn't really correlate that much with movie quality (I was expecting to have Transformers to have an average shot length of like 0.5 sec.)
Grif, that video is cool! Though I'd worry about jumping in with my sneakers. Because I only own one pair. So then I'd wear them around and get gangreeeene or something.

Halloweenie cards may be a little late. I was unsatisfied with them, so I'm going to draw more stuff to send with them, that way I don't feel guilty about sending one crappy card in the mail. Instead, you all get multiple crappy stuffs ;D
I am amazed that list doesn't have Dark City- that thing broke records for the number of cuts per second when it first came out. However, that film does it better than most.
edit:oh wait, it does. I'm just blind and didn't see the search bar.
1.9 cuts on average, 1.4 mean...
now if only I could remember what those terms meant...

You know there's a bunch of research now indicating that decreasing shot length in movies and TV (and specifically kids' cartoons) is contributing more importantly to kids struggling with focus, ADD, ADHD, blah blah blah etc., more than vidyagames and other stuff people have been pointing fingers at. They were specifically calling out Spongebob.

Norwegian Independence Day is my birthday! :P
I'm pretty impressed with the quadruple flip with a twist at the end near the end of the vid.
Valentine's day is my brithday!

Most of those guys are between 25 and 30 years of age.
That makes me feel better. Slightly.
EDIT: There was a paragraph of me whining here but eh.
Totally worth it, especially if you mooch off Grifter.

I could tell it was fake pretty easily
I know right? I can't think of a way to phrase "I have pet reindeer" without sounding ridiculous. Maybe photos.
Well I may take you up on that, and if you're ever in Colorado, hit me up. - and that actually goes for anyone visiting here in the big CO.
