I don't mind UV-ing stuff....but I guess that could also be because it's not my primary focus. If I had to do it all the time I might feel differently about it, but....it never seemed that bad to me
Pandora has just normal ads and not like targeted based on interest ads, right? Because if it's targeted, somehow I've convinced Pandora that I am in the market for a very expensive engagement ring. o_O Which would mean either having a mild like of CCR songs indicates eminent betrothal, or Pandora reads the forums and is taking MD's advances at face value.
Also, my Dad liked his Christmas present, yay- I knew that he's a fan of Lincoln, so I got him a 1929 edition of a collection of contemporary political cartoons about Lincoln. I figure the age of it made it a bit more special than something you might as well get as an e-book.
Unfortunately, my feelings of getting a good gift is soured somewhat by the revelation that my gift was 'particularly timely', because he just finished a book about Lincoln...by Bill "BLOWFACE" O'Reilly, which he described as "really good". :?
Now, there must be hundreds of books about Lincoln. Some good, some bad, many by well-regarded historians. How exactly one looks at all the available choices and decides to commit to the one written by someone only known not for his historical acumen, but for the fact that he's a petulant blowhard on cable TV, is something that fucking escapes me entirely.
EDIT: I need to pick some fights around here or something- this Cintiq is the perfect tool for drawing off the cuff bullshit, but nobody's been saying much that would justify a good drawn post lately.

Yo I just saw the new Holmes movie. I highly recommend it, concurring with previous statements made in this thread.
See it with your very own Holmes/Watson counterpart for added enjoyment.
Shit, which one am I supposed to be?
I guess the fact that I'm asking the question means I'm Watson- because if I were Holmes I would have a 3 page monologue laying out how I came to be Holmes and why, thoroughly shaming the police detectives who thought otherwise.
I just bought America's "Horse With No Name" after getting it stuck in my head. I can't believe I managed to drive through Utah and Nevada without playing this on loop. Looks like I'm going to have to move across country again at some future date, now that I'm appropriately prepared.
EDIT: Although listening to it now, I seem to recall this song got an award in a Dave Barry book for having some of the stupidest lyrics of all time. "The heat was hot"? No shit, America.
A while back I asked about Feng Zu's school of Design and we decided it probably isn't worth the money for such a short set of classes.
I still want to visit a workshop or take a class somewhere. I'm open to anything, anywhere! If you guys could go to one art related workshop or school for a short time, without worrying about the cost, which would it be?
I would probably take some of CDAs classes personally...having easy access to Watts Atelier already. I mean...I don't really know what to tell you. Southern California is the place to be for this type of education right now I think. With the option to go anywhere else in the world I have no idea where it would be.
God help me. The Filipino lady who cuts my hair at the barber asked if I wanted a beard trim and I said 'sure'. She cut off an inch of beard! My face is so cold! And so fat!

Although the streetsharks theme for an artists statement was a nice touch I'll admit.
At least Kim Jong-un has had some life experience living outside of North Korea.

That sounds a whole lot sadder than it actually is.

They captioned it with a name similar to "Chen Soo" or something. Her name is Isis and she's 1/4 Korean.

You should go beat that reporter/photojournalist to death with a newspaper. Or throw them in a printing press. Newspaper related deaths yes.
Without a signed Release Form this is illegal. If she is underage, it can only be signed by a parent or guardian. I would call up the editor.
