The Starlight Mansion and its foster webcomics are overseen by Jerrica Benton, the owner of Starlight Music after the death of her father. While she's helped out in her duties by her boyfriend Rio, the chief financial support for supporting the household comes from managing (and secretly performing in) her company's biggest musical act: Jem and the Holograms.
Using a secret high-tech computer built by her father before his death, Jerrica is able to use specialized earrings to project a holographic overlay that turns her from Jerrica into Jem, the most popular singer in the music world. Her band is comprised of her sister Kimber along with her friends Aja Leith and Shana Elmsford. In the middle of the series, a fifth member joins the Holograms, Carmen "Raya" Alonso. Only the other Holograms know of Jerrica's dual identity.
The Holograms' chief antagonists throughout the series are The Misfits (no relation to the real-world band). Formed by Eric Raymond, a former co-owner of Starlight Music, they were chief in his plan to take over Jerrica's part of the company, but were defeated in a Battle of the Bands and had to strike out on their own. The two bands clash numerous times, with the Misfits usually resorting to less-than-legal means, but Jem for some reason never wants to press charges, deciding instead to defeat them in fair singing combat. Or something. The band initially was just Pizzazz, Roxy, and Stormer, but they gained a new British saxophonist, Jetta, at the same time the Holograms expanded to five members.
At the start of the final season, a third band enters the scene. The biggest musical act in Europe, the Stingers come into the neighborhood and start causing trouble for both the Holograms and the Misfits.

Jesus.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
I spent most of Saturday collecting a list of around 400 webcomics that are a) currently updating and b) were not included on the Sir Hutchinson's array, which has many of the big webcomics we already know about. From those ~400 I pared the list down to 150 earlier in the afternoon, then managed to get 90 of them prepared by the time the previous thread locked. Four more lines to go, but now I don't have to rush.

Keep up the good work, my friend. I, for one, applaud your copious OP
oh hey I think I've found possibly the stupidest webcomic I've ever read
it's about Jareth from Labyrinth, the Phantom of the Opera, Javert from Les Miserables, and Norrington from Pirates of the Caribbean being neighbors in an apartment building for no reason
also it is anime. for no reason.
now I'm going to show it to you because you deserve it

Does that mean you won't read my webmanga about Eddie Winslow from Family Matters, Dr Beardface from Scrubs, Larry The Lobster from Spongebob and Cyrax from Mortal Kombat all working at a Gas station in Little Rock, Arkansas?

Did gyre and gimble in the thread;
All mimsy were the rfilyaws,
And the mome stilts preled.
"Beware the webcomics, my son!
The arts that bite, the jokes that prey!
Beware the QC bird, and shun
The frumious archime!"
He took his Sabremaul in hand:
Long time the mensch-o-foe he sought--
So rested he by the Achewood tree,
And stood awhile in thought.
And as in unffish thought he stood,
The Webcomic, with eyes of flame,
Came yiffling through the bogey wood,
And ferted as it came!
One, two! One, two! and through and through
The Sabremaul went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.
"And hast thou slain the Webcomic?
Come to my arms, my memeish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.
'Twas brillig, and the slithy crwths

How do you think I feel? I'm only familiar with one of them, and I draw it! (Although I think Rum Birds is cute.)
