cannot embed/share videos?

this is a suggestion/question i have been wanting to share the videos of PATV through sharing them on other sites using the embed as to make sure you get the views but the videos are on private. i was wondering why this is, and if its not that big of an issue the videos could be made public so that they could be shared?
