Imagine what it would be like to take over a multi-day cruise ship with board games and video games, all while traveling to some amazing destination. Perhaps it's islands in the Caribbean or a coastal trip to Alaska.
Who would be interested in such a trip? What would it take to put together?
It would take a lot of money, first-off. Considering the fact that many people need to share hotel rooms to attend PAX, the likelihood of people spending $1000s on a cruise seems unlikely to me.
seriously. obviously some people can swing it since the joco cruise does exist, but I checked it out and the minimum cost for me and my bf on that cruise would be over $2500! really makes you appreciate what a deal pax is.

Yeah, that cruise is overpriced, and they never really came out with any great deals. I've been on several dozen cruises, many a week in length, and I've never paid more than $500 due to specials and last minute deals and such.

Could probably be done for a reasonable price on one of the more "budget" cruise-lines like Carnival. I've been on 3 with Carnival, rather decent price, and usually their bars/lounges are dark/empty during the day so I'm sure something could be worked out for use during the day, nighttime is another matter.
I think it's a cool idea, and I'd be interesting for a fair price (I still have to get to PAX =P).
That sounds totally awesome, and totally out of my vacation price range.
Yes, to both.

but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
Joco Cruise Crazy is expensive, yes, but not as bad if you book early - right now only the most expensive staterooms are left. I did some quick math once, and a group of four friends going on the cruise could do it for around $800 each, if they were willing to go four-to-a-cramped-room (possibly less, that calculation was based on an outside room with a window, if I recall correctly). I don't even think that would be a bad idea (though you'd have to be pretty friendly for it to work. I went the first year and went 3-to-a-room in one of the medium-quality berths with two guys I met on the forums, and that was fine, but four would have been aaawkwaaaaard.)
Once you go over two people in a room, prices drop precipitously. Heck, this time the price for a third or fourth person in a stateroom was $50... plus the entertainment pass price, if they were interested in it. Sadly, going as a couple is a lot more expensive.
(Bah, I keep trying to write a longer post, and for some reason the forums keep cutting me off.)

I can't believe that this is a thing that exists. My world has been improved because of this knowledge.
Unfortunately, the studentness of my current reality will prevent me from being able to take a 7-day cruise in the middle of February. However, I am seeing a graduation present suggestion in my future. ^_~

I'm in. If someone sets this up and they find a good deal with promotions, (500 - 1k for one guy) I would totally do this.
