Laptop Drivers Issue

I have a Dell Inspiron 9400 laptop running Windows 7.

I'm trying to update the graphics drivers so I no longer have any issues with City of Heroes, but there is a problem. When I go to the Dell website to update the drivers, Dell says my laptop is not able to run Windows 7, so they don't make Windows 7 drivers for this laptop. Never mind the fact that I'm running Windows 7 on this laptop just fine.

Question is, how do I update my drivers? Should I just use whatever XP or Vista drivers they list as available?

We are human, after all. Flesh Uncovered, after all.

I'd try the GPU manufacturer (ATI or Nvidia) 1st and download either the latest drivers specific for your GPU, or the latest driver package (I believe for modern GPUs both manufacturers have a single driver package that you download to install drivers for multiple different models of GPU). Now the ATI/Nvidia driver package may not install, directing you to the OEM (Dell in your case) for your GPU drivers; in that case I've had luck finding more recent installable drivers that work in OEM applications at this site. If that doesn't work out for you you'll have to investigate more interesting methods of installing drivers (e.g. extracting ATI/Nvidia driver package and manually installing drivers instead of using the setup installer, or trying the same with the OEM drivers for Vista).
