Do you watch the Late Late Show? Their Halloween show was fantastic. Neil Gaiman gave Craig a haggis that he brought over from Scotland and Craig shoved the haggis inside the tardis on his desk.
Then Neil Gaiman's wife did a song from Rocky Horror.
It could've been better, but I found that scene still unsettling, just because it's only a few seconds of looping footage and then whoops it's still alive within those few seconds and now it's coming to kill you.

and then it was good but not all that scary
Unfortunately like anything else, hyping up even something great can diminish it. The great novelty for Blink was that the Angels never moved when the audience themselves were watching, so it lowered the fourth wall enough to draw a lot of people in, and it's a prime example of a beginner's intro to the series seeing as it lacks the usual fluff and goofiness of other episodes.
