You're right. Revenge is real. Justice is a myth.

However, saying revenge doesn't provide the same sort of Platonic justice that is essentially balance is just, well... wrong.

Well, you have to play the story missions because that's how you unlock new moves.

Other than that, yeah, just beating up stuff is the most fun.

I've played through most of it. It's pretty good.

I got stuck some time ago on the level with
    The attack on Samson's church

Which I assume is the third-to-last "boss" battle, with the second and first being
The Abomination and a battle with the "Devil Hulk" inside Banner's mind, respectively

Not gonna happen. One of the Japanese publishers (Konami, I think?) got the Hulk license away from Vivendi.

Wolverine could've sliced him apart, assuming Ord's skin and/or armor is not stronger than adamantium.
Cyclops could've blasted him to pieces.
Shadowcat could've phased through his chest and pulled out his heart.
Beast is superstrong, though it's an open question whether he's stronger than Ord.
Assuming he's susceptible to psychic attack, Emma could've stopped him. (I'm guessing he's not, though, since he wasn't affected during their first encounter, when his men were.)

Moreover, they were all working in concert. The first time, he was an unknown, so there's an excuse, but on the second encounter they shouldn't have had such a problem dealing with him.

Wolverine was recovering from having his guts ripped open.

Cyclops was busy bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds.

Ktty didn't show up till Colossus did.

    You've already covered Emma.

And anyway, as soon as Kitty came up with Colossus the rest of the X-men where like 'WTF! Wasn't he dead?" while Pete went nutso on Ord.

Dude, are you comparing Colossus' superstrength to beast's? In that first fight the Ord (If this is the right character I'm thinking of) says that on his planet diamonds are one of the softer gems. Beast is only superstrong in relation to the normal human body, wheras Colossus can lift nuclear submarines out from the depths of the ocean. (it's in Ultimate X-Men but they are basically the same)

Not to nitpick, but I believe Ultimate Colossus is supposed to be MUCH stronger than his 616 counterpart.

Colossus is way way stronger than Beast. Beast is pretty strong, but he's more of a Spider-Man type fighter, relying on speed and agility rather than brute strength. I mean Beast dosent throw cars at people. Colossus does.

I wasnt aware that her diamond form made gave her any sort of strength bonus at all. She hits harder because she's punching you with diamond and not skin and bones, but it's not superstrength.

Thats how Husk's power works too isnt it?

Actually wiki says that the extent of her diamond form powers have been inconsistently rendered and have yet to be definitvley stated.
    wikipedia wrote:
Frost is virtually impervious to all forms of physical damage and can use her indestructible body to support incredible amounts of weight, though different writers have shown varying accounts of her strength.

And even that I wouldnt really classify as superstrength, if she's in diamond form and car falls on top of her she wont get hurt, but I dont think she's gonna pick that car up either. I can't think of a single time throughout either New X-Men or Astonishing when she has done something that could be considered super-strength.
