    I love italics.

    Also, wizards have range limits!

Otherwise we'd be storming shit across map, having the EMP projectile land on us 20 seconds later

Looking forward to the new season, hoping to be promoted out of Bronze this time, woo!

In order to my assist with my epic rise to greatness, does anyone have any advice on what I should transition into from MMM towards the late game? Currently use this on Terran and Protoss with the main strategy being to have twice as big an army as the other guy. Standard v Protoss seems to be add Ghosts and Vikings, is there anything good v Terran?

Also, any idea on persuading your 2v2 pal to be less terrible? I mean plays Protoss and doesn't research warpgate tech terrible.

4 Zerg, 5 Protoss, and 1 Terran have qualified for code A:
    Terran : fOrGG

Zerg: Luvsic, Cezanne, Symbol, and crazymovING

Protoss: Creator, Vines, InCa, Tassadar and GuineaPig

10 players qualifying today, 11 qualifying tommorow, and 19 current Code A players means there'll be 40 players in whatever the new format is for code a next season

Nothing like waking up early, getting a hot shower, havin some good coffee, and watching some streams. Currently watching CheckPrime to try and glean some zerg knowledge, although I'm tempted to watch Jinro because his music choice is awesome for waking up.

Edit: Jinro is much better to watch in the mornings I've determined.

that's your justification. it is all that is right and true.

like, specifically. i get that it'd be nifty for looking up stuff while i'm gaming - having the forums running

what other benefits do you find? I'm more curious for my own interest, to be honest. in the absence of any real productivity related reason to get them, I'm going to have to fall back on "if you really loved me..."

You could try the whole increase in your productivity angle:

She used to play wow right?

Because look how clean your wow UI could be if you split it across two monitors!

    Linked for huge.

It was annoying playing like that though, and it wasn't my favourite UI.

I hardly ever see burrowed banelings in ladder. And I'm more worried about gas efficiency and not interrupting tank production than the 8 marines I'll lose to a few lucky burrowed banelings. And a raven would get instantly sniped by mutas. That's why I never get ravens in TvZ. That's why no one gets ravens in TvZ.

Aren't ravens basically immune to mutas thanks to pdd. So long as you don't fly them around the map by themselves. Keep a pack of marines underneath. RAIT?

And the two maps they added seem absolutely horrible. They got rid of Tempest and Khaydarin Depths because a third was hard to take, yet on the new Magma Pool (something like that?), neither teammate can take a second base without it being completely out in the open. So annoying.

This has been bothering me. What's with the zerg unit naming convention? "Hydralisk" and "Roach"? Science and bullshit.

The original zerg units were named by Terran scientists who studied the exciting new alien species they discovered.
    Then the scientists got eaten.
Now, new sub-species are named by soldiers.

Things have finally settled down enough for me that I'm finding time to ladder again.

I think I'm actually getting better; at least now I'm dying with 50 workers on the field and thousands of floated minerals, instead of a poorly-executed rush build and <= 20 workers.

Also, I'm sorely tempted to just carrier rush every game because I'm going to miss my space blimps so much when they're gone. :(

1 base carrier rush had about 30% success rate against diamonds a year ago!

Gets wrecked by early agression, so never works against zerg these days I suppose, as they are getting adept at spotting a ramp only protected by a sentry and 5 zealots :P.

If any of the lower level players come across a lader opponent who is particularly bad, can you post the replay, and try to chat with him afterwards if he'd like to take part in a charity event?

I noticed this last ladder reset, and it's the fucking best! 6pools/2raxes all fucking day! Great training to hold such bullshit, and once you do (i.e. learn good spine placement) it's free wins erryday.

    so it's not just me...

I had 5 zvz in a row yesterday, terrible. One of the things that makes me want to race switch is that ZvZ is my least favorite mirror match.

I go muta in ZvZ. two base, lings/spines to defend. You can defend that roach/ling all in with just lings and spines, banelings make it even more defensible.
