Thanks heaps, you guys are too kind. Godfather, that persons work is awesome thanks for sharing.
madmosher, I think it took around 7 or 8 hours, if memory serves correctly.
Not much drawing as of late because christmas is coming up and getting ready to visit the family down south for a week or two.... but in the meantime started sculpting this little guy, still in the rough stage:
He's a loner hoodie kid that likes to climb things... and has a little venecian mask his parents got him on a holiday away. He lives in a small countryside town in England, and likes to climb over stone-walls, up trees and onto the roofs of cottages and the like.
He also has an iPhone which I'm considering getting at some point. :P His name is Erin.
Edit: Here's a marker sketch of him I did a while back... where his concept kinda started to take some form.
Great stuff! Cool to see you doing some sculpting too.
If you have any questions concerning sculpting I'd be happy to answer any that you may have. (I'm a sculptor...just sayin')
Love these designs!
I feel I say this about almost every person's art I like, but please make a comic with your dudes. You could call it Viking Shenanigans and I would read it.
ninjai: I won't have access to a scanner for a couple weeks, but I can do so when I get back and sort out some prints, after what people were saying about that one it sounds like quite a few people would like a print of it. So I'll let you know, sorry it's in a couple weeks though.
Scotty: Cheers, that's very good of you to offer, your sculptures look incredible.
Arden Canelo: Aw thanks. Comics are always interesting but it's just a matter of coming up with a worthwhile scenario. But Erin (the kid in the last pic) would be fun to make a comic for.
Here's an old one I found buried on the hard drive, it's a couple years old so nothing fresh... but just thought I'd share, a TF2 sniper rifle reskin:
Edit: I know that's the NZ flag and Sniper is Aus, I'm from NZ so it was just a little joke.
I feel as if that sassy fish could use a bowler hat to further add to his sass (tilted down over his head), but perhaps it would be too much. I am entertained at the amount of fucks he does not give with a hook and a cigar in his mouth at the same time.
....With red lead.... means if i do just a black and white drawing i want to do digitally later, the red underworking is easier to photoshop out after scanning.... Also blue or grey lead seems to smudge in too much with the markers and makes things mucky. http://www.gordonharris.co.nz/mars-micrograph-tleads-pc-SR254052.html
I agree Flay, the lines are a bit obscure, I wasn't too pleased with them after finishing; they're supposed to be thin lines of smoke and strings of tarp coming out from the ship (think of a very slight ghost-ship aura in a way). Thanks for the feedback!
agostino221: Sorry I'm not sure I follow, saying about what? the ship picture? Or was that directed at Flay?
Here's a Space Rhino:
Edit: Err... maybe these images are too big... Sorry
Been playing a bit of Sonic Generations. I was nervous at first... A once-sonic-fanatic as a kid that had killed interest in him around / after Sonic Adventure 2. But I picked up the demo for this. shortly after I picked up the full game, and am loving every rekindled-passion second of it.

Black ink is done with one of these, super awesome... wide range of line thicknesses, deep black ink and lasts for ages... sometimes use a 0.2mm ink pen for super thin lines though:

And colour markers are Tombow dual brush, I usually use the brush side instead of the pen nib side:

Bit expensive to buy at first, but each of the pens do last quite a while... there's definitely cheaper mediums out there though.
Edit: Also, girlfriend made me a sleeve to put my sketchbook and pens in. Yay!
Excellent talent.
Some anatomy... there's more but i hadn't photographed em haha.

I'm not sure what the lines on the right are meant to indicate though.

Speech bubble with my homeland/town's slang thrown in for kicks.
"Ha! I have the right Astronaut!" would be so satisfying.
