I'd like to plan to start shortly after the downtime ends instead, but it would greatly reduce the time between day 1 narration and night 1 vote (since I don't want to do that late every night) and of course we can never be certain that downtime will end when planned.
It’s all started as another peaceful day in Free Country, USA. Homestar Runner and PomPom were demonstrating for the Annual FC,U Dance Competition. Homestar had just demonstrated some especially slick moves, and it was Pom Pom’s turn to show what he can do. He stepped onto the dance floor and began with a classic turny whirly slam. Then, just as he was preparing to transition to an audacious head-balance swing machine, the unthinkable happened. Pom Pom, with a deafening pop, burst into nothing.
Before the collective audience could express their dismay, the large television behind the dance floor switched from a tasteful combination of color display and dance music to the masked visage of Strong Bad laughing maniacally.
“Bahahaha! Greetings, Free Country, USA! This is your future lord and master, Lord Strong Bad the Mighty! Or no wait... King Strong Bad of the Awesome League! Oh oh! Strong Bad, Master of the Universe!
“The industrial needs of Strong Badia have exceeded their limited fieldiness! I have chosen your city to be processed for fieldification!
“Think you can stop me! Just try it! Me and my fellow Strong Badians are hidden amongst you. Good luck! Hehehehehe!”
Homestar Runner shook his head, his mouth hanging open with awe. “That is the cwaziest dance move I have ev-oh seen!”
Citizens of Free Country, USA win when all the Strong Badians are killed. Strong Badians win when there are more Strong Badians than Citizens of Free Country, USA.
