HEY, QUILTBAG, WE DON'T LIKE YOUR KIND 'ROUND HERE

just kidding, we totally do, and now we have a totally awesome backronym to describe them!

Q - Queer and Questioning
U - Unidentified
I - Intersex
L - Lesbian
T - Transgender, Transexual
B - Bisexual
A - Asexual
G - Gay, Genderqueer

I'm a "B" because I like sucking the occasional dick and having mine sucked by the occasional Quiltbag. (not that the "A's" would be into it)

I feel sure that among this den of perverts and sodomites there's got to be a few "Q's" and "L's" and "T's" and even "A's"

I'll bet you like makeouts and deep-dickings and foot-worship and handcuffs (I'm looking at you, Anti)

I know I like all of these things. Maybe you should talk about what you like or give advice to people who are looking to try something new so they can have awesome, fulfilling sex lives.

so without further ado

"Quiltbag" feels like a slur somehow.

    But I guess it isn't!

every self-identified asexual person i've ever met

upon getting to know them better

turned out to be misanthropic and/or sporting some pretty serious social problems

like it's a claim i'm not even sure i buy

i guess, in the wild and wacky world of hormonal states and shit, it's possible for a person to be legitimately without sexual interest

but i've never met such folk

It means you need an identify scroll or to go see Deckard Cain in town.

"Not straight people" seems less complicated at this point

once again i question the default inclusion of transgender people in such acronyms

fun fact: some transgender people self-identify as heterosexual and don't consider their issues to be in direct alignment with the plights of non-heterosexuals

a guy I play D&D with is basically asexual, but is not particularly misanthropic or more socially awkward than you would expect out of a guy who plays D&D on a Wednesday night

the other dudes get on his case about it and say "why don't you just go get laid, man, it's not that hard"

and the whole thing makes him very uncomfortable

not really sure what I can say other than "lay off the guy, everybody"

  • JavenJaven Registered User regular
Should Queer and Genderqueer really be different labels? If you're Queer and Questioning, doesn't that also make you bi? Or Unidentified?

I'm sensing you just really wanted to make an acronym

    fine work, hunter

    how was halloween

have you indulged in the parent's right to pick over your son's candy "for safety" meanwhile taking the good shit?

    because you are his father

    that is your right, sir

All Twix were confiscated to be inspected for LSD, needles, and rat poison. They were all clean, but the test was destructive for the item.

    well they aren't necessarily aligned

although you'd need to say "Not straight cisgendered people" in order to run the entire gamut

I believe it's the term now for when parents raise their child in an unidentified state so social gender characteristics don't influence the child.

conflating sex, gender, and sexual orientation is pretty stupid

those are not the same things!

they do not have the same social issues

they shouldn't be lumped under the same acronym or whatever

there comes a point where your acronym literally becomes "not you people, but everyone else"

and that's not a good thing

it's like when people use the phrase

"person of color" to mean "not a white person"

Queer usually just means "gay" but doesn't have the female-exclusionary connotations that "gay" does, while "genderqueer" tends more often to refer to people who refuse to accept the social construction of gender and do not like being referred to as a "man" or "woman."

And I didn't make it up, someone else did:

pony, it strikes me as REALLY fucking stupid how you've complained about biphobia in the past and expressed anger that people act like bisexuals don't exist

then do the same for asexuals lmao

in America at least, "not a white person" is actually a fairly useful descriptor when you're talking about privilege

undecided, perhaps? or "multiple of the above?" or "none of the above?" or maybe another vowel was needed, because jeez two G's, and L and a Q do not make real good acronyms

anyway, i like this new acronym. LGBTQ is unweildy! there needs to be a rule of thumb where acronyms beyond 4 letters should form a prounceable word.

aren't judgments like this ("i don't want "trans," in this acronym, or "genderqueer," or) normally the kind of thing you'd want to leave to the people it most affects--ie, the people within the groups you think don't belong?
