SEE THE SIZE OF THOSE MAPLE RINGS
it is super hard to find maple ring donuts nowadays :( they were everywhere when I was younger!

Come to Canada, home of the Maple-Must-Be-Everywhere bylaw.

In Chicago, what I love for lunch is Chutney Joe's.

It's a fast food Indian place kinda like Panda Express or Chipotle.

They don't deep fry, use cream, or ghee so it's decently healthy. That probably also makes it not what some people are looking for when they want Indian food. But oh god I love it so much.

You know, I'm a couple pages late, but I really have found I don't dig rib tips.

I want the whole rib, not just the tip.

EVERY thread is talking about Seattle right now. I've got enough Southwest points to make it there, but not enough to make it back to Texas. I'm trying to figure out if being a hobo on the streets of Seattle is better or worse than living in Texas.

We all know the answer, I just think I should at least visit the city in the winter once as a properly-fed person before committing myself to a life of burning newspaper for heat.

Also, Top Chef: Texas started last night. Show spoiler:
So far, all three Seattle chefs have been booted. I think all the Chicago chefs are past the first cut.

If I had extra month's pay, I'd get the fuck out of here and to Korea to stuff my face with bulgogi and bibimbap.

If you became a hobo, I would probably say hi to you every morning and afternoon. I pass a bunch on my way to/from work. Pioneer Square is hobo central

You could always cut open a hobo and sleep inside him to stay warm.

Alinea is good but you're paying more for the presentation, rather than the meal (but like I said, the meal is really good).

Girl and the Goat is like, goddamn impossible to get a reservation at.

I would definitely not simply be going for the food. I'd be going for the experience.

Also as soon as I hear back about when my friend can go to Girl and the Goat with me I'm planning to make the reservation ahead online, so cross your fingers for me that there are still some available.

Is there a 'secret menu' at Five Guys, or alternately do they frown on ordering a burger with all of both the black and red topping choices?

The internet has failed me in this quest.

I can't see why they wouldn't let you have all the toppings. I get dang near all of them when I get a Five Guys burger.

Sometimes simple food just really hits the spot. For example, I just made some rice with chicken bouillon and it is so good.

He actually left Home like a month after we went there. He's also basically just a consultant/director at Flip and hasn't been in the kitchen since its first 6 months, which I think shows.
