When I post something on Wordpress, does Wordpress gain the copyright to it? I've been invited to contribute to a popular blog on gender issues, and I want to basically adapt something that I wrote one time on Wordpress (I eventually took the post down because I didn't feel like blogging anymore), but I want to expand on that blog post. Would there be any legal issues you guys can think of associated with taking something I wrote for my own short-lived and anonymous Wordpress blog, altering the post significantly, and then posting it on a popular blog? I don't think money is involved (don't think this blog pays), but I dunno if that would make any difference.
Also, I doubt this blog even got a single hit, though I haven't checked the analytics in awhile.
I ask primarily because Facebook and, recently, NeoGAF (funnily enough) have some pretty insidious copyright clauses in their terms of use, if I'm not mistaken. I really hope I haven't already screwed myself here by writing on that Wordpress site.

I'm reasonably certain that part actually relates to whether a poster on Wordpress can use any of WORDPRESS's intellectual content, not whether Wordpress can use any of the POSTER's content. Maybe I'm misreading it. Obviously, reading the ToS is the way to find out whether the ToS contains anything saying they own your content... I can't read through that at the moment because I'm just taking a quick break from studying, but maybe later today I can flip through those ToS if nobody beats me to it.
Here's another relevant section from Part 2 of the TOS
