so you can rent stuff like LA Noire and Rage and Battlefield 3 from the redbox
plus you never have to pay money to play online, so when you feel the urge to bust out street fighter one day you don't have to worry about being able to lose to all sorts of people
If I got a PS3 it'd be for stuff like Uncharted and because a bunch of my friends who play fighting games play them on PS3 so I can finally fight them.

I might buy Xenoblade Chronicles too because I fucking can
As someone who likes very few JRPGs, let me tell you that it does away with a lot of JRPG bullshit and has actually had me playing my Wii consistently lately (I don't know what it would be like with a remote, as I use a classic controller)

so i'm catching up on the Welcome Back Tricaster thing and they announced the 12-hour Skyrim stream but Jeff said it was only gonna be Greg Kasavin and a mic
I mean I like Greg and all but I wonder how entertaining that will all be if there really aren't going to be people popping in and out
I pretty much play all multi-platform games on my PS3 now
This. The only games I have on my 360 at this point are Rock Band games, because that's all my wife plays (when she plays games at all). I got a PS3 last December and have since made a full transition onto it as my platform of choice.

I literally know nothing about it other than it is a JRPG and that it's been the subject of controversy because Nintendo is dumb and can't do anything right for their fans

I don't know whether it would be to your liking or not as it's still a JRPG that throws a lot of tutorials your way, will be hard to read on standard def and has an annoying 'cute' team member, but it is still a beautiful game with great combat, music and locations
I like the PS3's interface 100% better than I liked the Xbox's. It's clean and not screaming neon ads at me constantly. It's lovely.
Also I watched that Skyrim statue unboxing and now I know what all of the Bombcast guys look like and it's weirding me out when I listen to the podcast. In my head Gary Witta looks like John Oliver and now I'm afraid to see what he actually looks like.
Wait so you're like one of those people who listened to the bombcast but never actually went to the site? That's really weird. I mean I like the bombcast and everything but it's not even close to the best piece of content they produce.
Also I bought a Wii for Zelda the first time, screw doing that again. I actually really enjoyed TP, but I didn't care for anything else. Even Galaxy which everyone raved about just wasn't very fun.

whoa what
explain your thoughts on Galaxy, please
I mean I really do not like the Wii or what it represents for various reasons, but Galaxy made me feel like I was 6 years old again

All right I don't like this forum software. Shows me as having double posted so I edit one then after that there's only one post again.
@YaYa - I don't know, man. It was just one of those things where I played it for a couple hours then didn't really feel compelled to keep going. I don't know if I've really been interested in a Mario related thing since SM64, honestly.

plus you have the bonus of no multi-disc games
so you can rent stuff like LA Noire and Rage and Battlefield 3 from the redbox

and I don't pay for my Live subscription, so that's a nonfactor
I never thought I'd be able to play Um Jammer Lammy again, yet five dollars later it's mine forever

I just tried this but the first QL won't play on their site because it's 'a duplicate of an already uploaded video'

but I can buy it all I want!
they're all confused what the title Drake's Deception actually means and treat it as a negative
if you pay attention to the game's story it is super obvious what it's referring to
like, it's not even a metaphor

it was, for me, an experience of pure joy
And then it became terrifying

I just don't dig em all that much. Or any other 3D Platformer for that matter.
Do you have a 3DS?
Mikey
Mikey
3D platformers meaning stuff like Mario 64
Which ones are the best?
Mikey
one that doesn't do 3D
I know that's not exactly what you wanted, but it'll cost much less and do everything useful that you'll want a quality TV to do, so
I'm looking forward to hearing what he has to say about it on the next bombcast. He was totally against even trying it up until now
also, i think i should buy that game

You can only see it in the premium members archive on the site.
All the high end TVs have 3D now. If you want 2D quality that's better than stuff from 2008, you're going to end up with a 3D TV.
That said, home 3D isn't going to take off until the good brands (Sony, Samsung, Panasonic) switch to passive 3D.
