3D is a fad that television corporations are trying as hard as they can to push because consumers buy a single regular HDTV and aren't going to need anything new for years
it's kind of dumb, but isn't actively offensive because it's totally optional for everything ever
The seats tilt back and forth and vibrate. At my film school a guy from the company actually came in and gave a speech saying how this was the future of movies and how every movie one day will have this. So then we'll have to buy thousand dollar chairs just to get the "full experience" of the movie.
I shouldn't get mad on the internet at one in the morning.
how many good movies effectively use these gimmicks?
why would anyone pay that much more money to get the experience in their home when the amount of quality entertainment for these things is so sparse
You know what I hate more then 3D? DBOX. Every time I get dragged to a movie in DBOX I can't concentrate on the movie because my seat's jerking around.
So excited for the Skyrim feature. It will probably determine whether or not I buy that game.
I'm actually not sure I want to watch that feature!
I'm not really on media blackout or anything crazy, but twelve hours of having sidequests spoiled doesn't sound like a great idea for an open world game I want to play soon

The advantage I have is that I don't really want to play it. I like RPGs and New Vegas was pretty enjoyable, but I'm not a big fan of open worlds and prefer depth to breadth.
So X hours of watching someone play it "seriously" will be the perfect "review" for me.

I am in a boat where I do not have the money but wanna play it so I will use these 12 hours of someone playing it to sate my dinothor*-lust.
Yesss, people experiencing this episode for the first time never gets old.
I've been going through Game Room QLs at the moment (before I'd only watched the stages of grief video), and I'm at the point where they've been releasing 5 (often poor) games and it is heartbreaking knowing what happens in later episodes.
I just want to say that Persona 4 is actually well written. I've not a huge fan of JPRG, never hated them, just I've never been interested in them. The characters in Persona 4 are pretty believable. They've all got interesting problems that I want to learn more about. It's a shame I can't see everything.

I think I may have just watched the one you mean.
There's a bit where Jeff says "I think this might be the point at which we look back and say Game Room went off the rails" and it is just great.

I'm really looking forward to that Anime if it gets translated. I want to see Persona stories without actually having to play the games.

It is being officially translated. You can watch the episodes here if you want to.

that is not a thing
I refuse to believe that is a thing
LG makes good quality TVs with passive 3D at reasonable prices

I was pretty against motion controls until Dance Central and some of the Motion Plus stuff I've seen
now I think that the tech's way too early but it'll get to where we want it at some point
but fuck 3D so hard

You don't really have anything against 3D unless you walk around with an eyepatch.
And if you do you have to post pictures.

I am going through all of the GB videos now that they are on Youtube
I love Ryan in this so much
I was hoping there'd be a live thing today. I was feeling bomb-deprived
It's set for 11/10 at 12:01 PST so apparently there's a pre-show for the show.
It features Dave
On part 12
