I fucking love tested. It's great. I don't even care for tech that much (in comparison to games) but Whitta/Chan/Smith just have such great chemistry. It's amazing. Will is a fantastic host. Chan keeps him from diving off the rails. Whitta is grumpy and insightful in roughly equal measure. They're fantastic. I just wish they had Brad or Vinny on once in a while.

I get bored when they talk about phones for over an hour.
I own a 10 dollar pay as you go phone and I don't drink coffee. The Tested podcast is literally not for me at all 99% of the time. I still end up listening to it because occasionally they will tell a funny story or something.
I tolerate the phone talk and love the tech talk. I'm massive nerd who follows AMD, Nividia and Intel on twitter sooo...
One of the best things to come out of Octoberkast for me was all the other good tech sites and personalities I am now aware of due to them being on the show.
If anything, I'm a bit disappointed with the relative lack of tech talk. There's been bugger all substantial coverage of Bulldozer from them. Fair enough that there's not much talk on GPUs as nothing really new is coming out till the end of this year/start of next year, but still
mailbags are in my top 3 favorite Giantbomb things. It is nice to see them doing things that don't involve video games sometimes and watching people try various, sometimes awful, foods is something I enjoy.

Yes, yes we can. Not many people seem to want to, though
Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better

I enjoy most podcasts when they go off topic and just talk like people
I actually like a phone conversations, but that's probably because I love talk about pretty much any new kind of hardware.
The coffee discussion on the other hand...

My other favorite games of the year: Arkham City, Dragon Age II and Deus Ex
I'm just calling what it's gonna come down to with the Bomb crew
I mean I don't think it is a serious contender for GotY but it was a very good game and no one has really mentioned it whatsoever
it was enjoyable, but I wouldn't say it was good
The point of a game is to entertain you, and if you enjoyed it it did it's job.
can we not do this
This is pretty fun. I'm not sure if I would watch something like this for a game I am not interested in though.
Man, I think my tenses are messed up in that sentence.
you know what
I immediately typed Catherine here
but Catherine wasn't very erotic and also Jeff didn't like it
so, hmm!
they actually got one

Whereas I felt that DA2 improved on basically everything except for environment design.
I've replayed DA2 three times and enjoyed each runthrough. I couldn't bear to play DA:O even a second time; a lot of it is just so dull.
But then, I realize this opinion puts me in the minority of internet posters.
