If you're sneaky enough you can probably get away with just holding them up. Might even be able to get a couple of them in a single stickup.
Oh, and if I recall correctly, if you pull off the captures without detection, subsequent batches will arrive on the same side, soi you can just go and hide near the starting point and repeat as needed.
Extra Ops variants of that mission may differ though.
So out of curiosity as I am quite new to this series and all, What is the chronological order of the series?
I know MGS3 comes first, with you playing as big boss/naked snake who decides later to clone himself and make Solid and Liquid... But then what? Is it MGS1 then?

Metal Gear Solid 3 -> Portable Ops -> Peace Walker -> Metal Gear -> Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake -> Metal Gear Solid -> Metal Gear Solid 2 -> Metal Gear Solid 4
Portable Ops is debatable, nothing contradicts it but Peace Walker says right at the start "Glad we're done with that crap". And if and when Rising comes out, it'll probably be between 2 and 4.
And in case you're wondering, no don't play them in that order. Not if it's your first time through.

Thanks, I was asking out of curiosity if I ever wanted to try to untangle the mess of the storyline.
Does anyone - anyone play the MGS4 Metal Gear Online anymore by any curiosity? Im just wondering if its worth downloading. Im going back to MGS4, are there any tips I should really know about it?
Yeah, definitely play the games in release order, not chronological. With one exception. I would say go ahead and play Peace Walker right before MGS4. PW doesn't spoil anything from MGS4 (as far as I could tell, if someone wants to correct me, go ahead), and it leaves 4 as your big finale.

Thoughts on MGS5? Where does the story go after 4, if that's what Kojima intends to do?
I feel like there's not really much left to do at this point. The games have always been about Solid Snake and Big Boss. We've seen where it began, we've seen where it ends, and we've seen just about every important event in between. There's only so much you can do making more games that take place between the existing games.
I think they need to either start from scratch, with a new protagonist to fill Snake's shoes*, or they need to pull a Star Trek 2011, and just start a new continuity.
*But not Raiden. Pre-MGS4, I would have thought of Raiden as a potential replacement for Snake. But the way he has developed, putting him in the same types of situations and gameplay as Snake wouldn't make sense.
i would be down if MGS5 was MG and MG2 in the MGS4 engine
i wonder if MGS5 will be on 360 too
well you can bet your ass it'll be on the fox engine, which kojima has said multiple times is great because of its cross platform capabilities.
whether or not mgs5 is even released this console cycle has yet to be seen, but when it is it will be on multiple consoles, no doubt about it.

This is my issue and also why I'm not exactly warm to the idea.

They'll either pull an Ac!d and create a whole new continuity, or pull a Castlevania and slot in a new story somewhere. And the problem with the latter is that there's almost no room left for that.
They could also just go after 4, with hopefully a new character. But it would feel kinda cheap, depending on how they handle it.

i want a game where it's just metal gear piloting
so another ZoE i guess?
But
(MGS4 spoilers)
Piloting a Metal Gear in MGS4 was shitty and unfun
Rebuttal but...
A Metal Gear is a walking tank. It should clomp along like that. Save your giant dancing robot ninjas for space/flying.
Hell, I'm annoyed the stupid thing roars. Like there's a button for "intimidate the enemy by screeching really loud while opening the cockpit and waving it at around to make the pilot dizzy." Otacon, you twerp.

Otacon installed a street fighting subroutine into the thing. After that, I think a simple roar button is perfectly plausible.

Metal Gear Solid 5: When Raiden shows up for a much needed vacation on Solid Snake's tropical island getaway, he's shocked to find that his host has passed away... But Naomi, Otacon, Big Boss, Sunny, and Meryl are due to arrive anytime! Can Raiden maintain the facade of Snake's being alive and convince the other guests he's still the world's most legendary solider? Find out this summer in Weekend at Burn- Snakies.

God DAMN, that fucking music gives me chills. So perfect.
I'm sure Kojima can come up with a storyline to make Solid Snake young again. Let's be honest: he got fucking shafted. And while that would be ridiculous, Kojima is a big fan of playing off of expectations. He'd figure out a way.
Of course, after re-watching that ending, it'd be a kick in the nuts, sort of.

R'as introduces Snake to his Lazerus Pit and wants him to be his successor since Batman turned him down. :P
Does anyone - anyone play the MGS4 Metal Gear Online anymore by any curiosity? Im just wondering if its worth downloading. Im going back to MGS4, are there any tips I should really know about it?
I'll address this since no one else has. Last I logged on (which was some time ago), there were indeed people still playing. But I'd gather it's primarily a small community with their own meta-rules and shit.
I really enjoyed the time I spent with it at release but my PS3 was stolen by a vindictive ex and I didn't get a replacement until like 2010. That said the online is very antiquated, harking back to the early days of PSN (it does not use the PSN friends list and you need to set up a separate Konami account).
I don't understand your comment on downloading it? If you have MGS4 you should have MGO. You can always log in to it and see for yourself. Though I would say don't waste your time, which is a shame. It really is a unique experience.

I remember more than once trying to play it and having to download a truly gargantuan patch. He probably means that.
Or since it's still a thing in pop culture, maybe we'll see Metal Gear Zombie (Left 4 Metal Gear? Metal Gear Rising-- oh wait), starring Zombie Snake! Master shambling stealth techniques, regain health by eating bad guy brains, eat Otacon and finally shut him up!

Harder than it sounds, but doable.
edit: Fixed important word!
Also, I guess we need to start calling Peace Walker "MGS 4.5", since Kojima's got MGS5 in the works.
