They need to show Shepard in a scene that can be misinterpreted in a great way. Like, they're running to a ship in a space port, but the shield keeping the oxygen in is off at the time.

    Shepard can breath in space!

Actually, screw waiting for it. Shepard can impregnate woman, as a woman! By looking at them!

Shepard can impregnate herself with no outside help, give birth, and then raise the child as the perfect killing machine to adulthood, all during a single firefight, since Shep is pretty much a diety

If you've got a bunch of money for Child's Play, you could have Garrus's dulcet tones gracing your voicemail message and explaining that you're too busy with calibrations to come to the phone right now.

I'm still amazed just how much the VA for Garrus sounds like Garrus without any technology stepping in.

I spend my whole life cultivating a voice that is clear, deep, and suave... only to get one upped by this MF. >_<

You're lucky I was born with a speech impediment you bastard!

There was a serious lack of vanguard charging in last year's marathon, so I hope they've improved since then.

This is a pretty cool Bioware pulse episode focusing on the "Voice" of the Reapers.

You have to sit through some merch peddling before they get to the good stuff, but it's worth it.

Oh, and here's a taste of the Clint Mansell score with no accompanying video/dialogue to spoil anything: www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXJRlWdjjRk

It's not quite as strong as his film work, but it's really good and a lot better than ME2's forgettable bullshit that I don't even remember.

Wow, that's very evocative of his score for Moon...which is exactly what I was hoping for. In Mansell I trust.

Remember how in Left 4 Dead the Tank would show up and everyone would be screaming and pelting it with bullets?

Living in Canada is like that but with bears and meese.

Sometimes I wake up and there are coyotes next to my bed, just watching me.

Yeah, Australia is naturally a high ranker in nature-based terror.

Canada is just the USA if the founding generations hadn't been killcrazy to an amazing degree.

Americans cut more lumber and killed more animals because our country is more hospitable to living. Canadian's couldn't hunt as much as we could because they, for some reason, want to live in a colder climate with bigger animals.

    USA had big animals too.

Emphasis on had. Grizzly Bears used to go as far south as California.

But, as I said, the Pioneers hated nature and wanted it all dead.

So I was reading this interview about voice actors (was that posted here? not sure how I came across it), and the most interesting bit so far turned out to be:
Dave Fennoy (Warlord Okeer/Ronald Taylor)- My typical day is anything but typical… I have a studio in my home so I do a lot of work from there, including my daily work for HULU.COM. I’m the voice that says ” the following program is brought to you….” before every show. For games however I usually go to another studio and work with a director. With cartoons we usually work as an ensemble but with games more often than not it’s just you, the director and perhaps the games writer. You record line by line only knowing your lines and motivation, but not the story.

Jacob's dad is officially more interesting than Jacob.

So I finally got around to correcting my mistake of ordering the digital deluxe version of ME3 through Origin, and am now getting the N7 collector's edition via amazon. I assume it will still require Origin to play, but after hearing bad things about the digital deluxe version compared to the physical version for ME2, I feel as though I made the right choice.

For the exact same price and free shipping, you traded a "digital litho" (.png) for an actual litho, got the same game with all in-game bonuses, and also scored a physical tin and hardcover artbook.

    You made the right call.

No, I mean lotion. Have you seen a Batarian? Have you seen how they all look like dank vaginas? We're talking dank as in dire abysses that are also female appendages infected with some sort of space yeast infection. If anything, they need lotion. A bucket of lotion. They need to have lotion injected into their veins by some mass effect device that injects gallons of lotions into their bodies in moments, because a moment too late is a moment too much with a Batarian.

Sorry, that came off as a bit racist.

    Well, that's just peachy.

You know, I don't mind spoilers, generally. It's my own fault, no harm no foul. I even seek them out a lot of the time.

But this? This goes into douchebag territory. Finding it for yourself, fine. Good skill test, and you're the only person who gets any negative. But spreading it?

    Yeah, not fond.

Maybe I'm being thick but how can the game's entire plot be stuffed into a demo and a beta demo at that? And more importantly, WHY?

Internal alpha builds. Just rip bits of the code for testing purposes from the full build of the game without checking for unnecessary bits of code.
Unfortunately some moron at Microsoft fell asleep at his keyboard and let it out.
It's jumbled between a lot of code and out of order.
But it's definitely all there, right up to the end of the game.

and with that I'm out of this thread till March.
