Way to stream music through a LAN?

Is there a way (Mac, preferably, but I can use Windows too) to stream whatever I'm listening to in my room to anyone in the dorm? I kind of want to do a sort of mini-radio show thing, or at the very least just be able to have people be able to listen to exactly what I'm listening to in real time. Possible?

    I know Shoutcast for Winamp can do that. I actually did that at college myself, mainly so I could be in the lab and listen to my playlists. Worked really well after some tweaking.
