Smartphone advice

Hi chaps, I'll get to the point - I'm eligible for an upgrade on my current mobile phone contract and am wondering what the lovely Penny Arcade community's advice would be in terms of which smartphone to go with next? I'm thinking of going Android. Thanks in advance.

    This is vague. Android is an OS, not a phone. It also implies you are switching from a different OS? Which would that be? I recommend the android thread in Moe's Tavern, because I don't know phones. Android phones do rock though.

    Currently on a BlackBerry Storm2, so yes "going Android" would mean switching to a different OS. I appreciate Android is an OS rather than a phone manufacturer outright, but I thought I'd specify so peeps would know I'd at least made a choice between Android vs iPhone. Thanks for the pointer, I'll check it out :)
