My 1-yr-old wanted me to take him for a walk in his stroller. He climbed in his stroller by himself and started trying to buckle it. Then he got out and walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my leg and started trying to pick me up.

It's more of he wanted you to take him for a stroll.
We're leaving for the Hospital in an hour. I slept reasonably well. I'll also get wednesday night to myself to make sure the house is ready for us to come back (dog included)
Nervous about the dog meeting the boy.

Good luck dude! Hope it all goes well. Suggestion: Take a receiving blanket back from the hospital before the baby comes back and let the dog sniff and get used to his smell; see how he reacts.

Woo! I hope things go swimmingly for you. Post photos when you have them?
Your dog will likely be just fine with the baby, unless it's already got aggressiveness issues. It'll know who's offspring it is, and will likely be protective of it. @Syphyre has a good idea with the baby blanket, though - can't hurt.
20 minutes now. Annestisia guy made me nervous. They couldn't find an or suit so I have a gown on.

What's weird is that she will probably be able to feel them rooting around, just as kind of a vague pressure sensation, no pain
It's so surreal, one second they're doing random prep stuff and asking "can you feel this, okay how about this, how about this" and then BAM there's a baby
Janson! My wife (28 weeks) last night started talking about how BIG she was going to get and kind of getting anxious about it. It occurred to me that you had posted a picture right before your birth and just happened to post again with your carrier yesterday. So I had a good example of "right before/two weeks later" to show how she's not going to be that big for very long.
So thanks for posting the pictures, they helped stop that ball of anxiety from picking up steam last night.

Egad... my son's growing like a weed. He's only 3 months, but is 17 lbs already... he won't fit into anything smaller than 6M clothes. It's almost scary.
Prediction: By the time he's 7 he'll be towing the family car behind his bike, which will be made from steel girders and stand 1.5 stories high. (His bike, not the car.)

Yay! You're welcome.
I was just coming on here to say how impressive the elasticity of the skin is. I'm now 11 days post-partum and I would say my belly is almost back to normal (because I didn't exactly have the best abs pre-pregnancy). The skin is soft-feeling, but not really saggy at all! So yes you can doubly assure her. I don't know how much of it is due to breast feeding but breast feeding really does help contract the uterus and get you backdown to size quicker!

We still have to hide meat in other foods to get our daughter to eat it. Though she occasionally gets brash and will eat a whole chicken nugget.

Peanut butter, then, I guess... and other non-meat protien. Part of it could be a texture thing, too... meats are pretty chewy/stringy. Try something finely ground or easy to chew?
I went to Mrs. Reaver's weekly OB appointment today and we got her scheduled for an induction on May 21-22. I have been getting more excited about meeting my new daughter over the last couple of weeks but actually scheduling labor made the fact that I'm going to be a father in a few weeks really sink in.
So many things going on around here. Both of our birthdays were last week, I'm graduating from law school this Saturday, baby is coming later this month, and I'm taking the bar in July.
Gonna be busy in the Reaver household for a while!

Anya is a really, really good baby. I cannot complain in the slightest.
And yet it can reach 4 pm and I can have still struggled to do much beyond shower, dress and have one meal.
Fortunately Mori was able to hold her long enough for me to put away laundry and make beds today and riiiight now she is sleeping although I'm not sure for how long.
Also @Huxley, if your wife has an IV/epi just let her be aware that she is likely to be reaaaaaally swollen after birth, possibly way more swollen than she was during pregnancy! My legs were like tree trunks and I still looked 7 months pregnant and my ankles and feet were enormous. I was beginning to wonder if I'd just dreamed that I ever had slim ankles. But a week later it was all gone!

Make sure to get a good sleep tonight, probably the last one you'll get for at least a little while.

Nifty! Thanks for the link.
Just for that, I'll reward you with another picture:

His legs and feet tend to be the issue more than his torso
Also I cannot for the life of me figure out how much protein he should be getting, and he's still being annoying about eating meat
UGH

The only time he'll eat it is if I feed him teeny bites of whatever I'm eating, and he only takes a few of those before he gets bored or something

<shrug> As long as he's getting some protien, he'll likely do fine.
