He sent me Velvet Assassin, thus releasing me from the shame of having this incredibly obscure title by a no-name studio which has to date made only one other, universally reviled game on my wishlist for so long (I think this was literally the only thing on my list which wasn't marked down during the summer sale) and also saving me $2.49. Yes, Minor Incident, I do like killing Nazis from the shadows, and I am also rather fond of dat ass. Cheers!
I think I'm safe today. Thought about Dead Island, but then realized by the time I would get around to a game like that, it will end up on another sale again, hopefully for cheaper. I've gotten off light so far, just picked up all the New Vegas stuff. Could this be the least I ever spend on a steam sale? Also, have to come up with a contest for the boards again. Try to do at least one during these.
I hate DRM. It makes things difficult for me because it doesn't really affect me ( I only have one PC, and it will be along time before I could ever afford to replace it) but I know it should anger me on principle.

@Minor Incident has been slow to redeem his copy of Terraria from awhile back (apparently someone gifted it to him at the same time).

I will do a very happy dance on the day they allow me to set multiple categories for one game. At least at the moment the search button searches category titles so i can search "new" and get a view of my entire backlog or something.
I see that categories become serious business once you pass the 50 game mark.

So far, I got all of New Vegas DLC + TDU2. Grand total: $17 or so.
So I can confirm that buying the Gundemonium Collection gives you extra giftable copies of any games you already own in the collection. Know why? Because TheUnsane1 just gifted it to me! A big thanks to you, sir! And here's hoping your copy of Space Marine arrives soon.

Yup, I just put my games into categories, the 'backlog' category far outweighs the 'completed' or 'games I'll lever play'
I think I enjoy buying games more than playing them, I've gifted quite a lot of games this time round that I haven't got myself, partly to make up for receiving a lot of classy gifts last year. It's just so much fun to buy games, moreso for other people!
If you're looking for a discount on Skyrim, mentioned earlier D2D has a flat 20 percent off order coupon on their site, so decent savings on some brand new games.
