I will do a very happy dance on the day they allow me to set multiple categories for one game. At least at the moment the search button searches category titles so i can search "new" and get a view of my entire backlog or something.
I see that categories become serious business once you pass the 50 game mark.
They do, but I had a weird error delete all my categories a few weeks ago (and I had taken a couple of hours categorizing my library).
It certainly has made me less likely to spend the time in the future.

So kind of a long shot, but anyone not got Breath of Death and Cthulhu Saves the World yet?
I'm planning to pick them up on the last day with all my other "last day I can't believe I'm spending more money" purchases.
So I'm guessing that was you that just gifted me these? Thank you to mere_immortal for the classy gift of more RPG goodness. One day, when my not yet 2 year old has gone off to college, I will complete all the RPGs in my game bank. Thank you again!
I think I should change my forum name to 'Constant Lurker'. At any rate, I'm lurking so hard at this thread that I've lost $50. On a smartphone at the relatives now which makes Steam purchases that much harder, and probably won't be able to play most of this stuff for a good long while. How do new parents find the time?
Anyhow, any chance of a Steam group invite? Wouldn't refuse friend requests either, my Steam name is rickbdman.
Why doesn't Serious Sam Gold Edition have an option to add it to your wishlist?

Ah, I've managed to escape Steam's vice-grip sales yet again. I almost bought Orcs Must Die! (in fact, I kind of wish I had), but I'm not too worried about it because it'll go on sale again for Christmas. But I think if Dungeon Defenders gets a price cut tomorrow or Sunday, I'll pull the trigger on that.
I was tempted to grab Human Revolution, but I'm afraid I just won't play it. I never got into the first Deus Ex (heresy, I know), so I am waiting on this one to drop a little more before I try again.
But the specific classy individual in question is minor incident, who has continued his rampage of generosity with a lovely copy of Psychonauts, which I thankfully will not need a name to play.

DAMN YOU MINOR INCIDENT, WHO IS CLASSY AND GIFTED ME CAPSIZED
Furthermore, damn the also classy TPSou for beating him to the punch and gifting me Sanctum.
I hate you all.
You guys are awesome. THERE WILL BE A RECKONING
So, I think I won your challenge. [smug]

So I get home from Thanksgiving dinner at my Mom's this afternoon and find that Lepwave has gifted me a copy a Sol Survivor, which has been sitting on my wishlist for a good while now. Totally awesome and classy. Thanks Leppy.

You will, actually. You have to name your profile in the game.
I really should play psychonauts more, but the framerate tanks at the GCP.
Oh, and how do you buy now to gift later? Purchase as a gift and send it to your own email addy, then forward or whatever when you've got a recipient in mind? Or is there a more 'correct' way to do it yet?

Kainy is vengeful in a classy kind of way. He is also kind of creepy, I was thinking about picking up dungeon defenders when I instead spent the money to get him a gift. Now he gifts me dungeon defenders.... what is this trickery?

I think you can just buy as a gift and then store it, can't you?
But...if you fight fire with fire, you just get MORE FIRE.
Are you gonna get into some hilarious gifting war where you just gift each other bigger and more expensive games, until someone gifts the other all the railworks DLC?
Because I bought so many indie games from previous sales and never actually enjoyed playing very many of them, I refuse to indie games during Steam sales, unless I have watched a video about it and have ascertained for myself that I might enjoy it. I got burned on Mount and Blade a while back (what a waste of $20!) because everyone else had something positive to say about it and I bought the game because of that.
Think for yourselves, people, and think very hard about what you enjoy, not what other people enjoy. You might save a lot of money that way.

You can always resend to someone else through Steam by going into your Manage Gifts and Guest Passes. I have not tried the new inventory system yet.
EDIT: They have a "Save for later" option now? I'll have to try that out sometime, thanks for the information.

Huh. Nevermind my earlier exclamations of glee - I have about 3-4 demos in my list (Space Marine, Hoard, Zombie Driver, and Limbo) and they count towards your total. I also have some 3rd party mod called Neotokyo that I cannot remove from my steam list.
Thank you guys for reminding me about Psychonauts. It's one of the games I am waiting for a daily for, but I was going to add it to my wishlist yesterday when people were talking about it.
I go and play my PA league Blood Bowl match and see two weird graphic effects during the game. Finish it up and I see INANTP and Minor Incident have tossed Psychonauts and the SS HD games my way. And on top of that, I finally won a Blood Bowl match. Time to hit someone back.

Thanks man.

Holy what the hell! While typing the word ungiftable I had a popup with flight control from Minor Incident. I'm on to your psychic powers of class.
He drive-by gifted me Capsized when I least expected it
Also, I'm totally stealing that style

Suck it, Minor Incident. YOUR CHEER CANNOT PENETRATE MY RETAIL HATRED OF CHRISTMAS!
I could sit out a generation. That's not an exaggeration.
sounds like a challenge
And the classiest santa.
Thanks for Flight Control my friend
Someone may want to check his PMs before getting all high on the hog.
So I'm guessing that was you that just gifted me these? Thank you to

ACCEPTED!
I've had this happen two or three times to my categories, it is quite frustrating.
You should try to get your credit card deactivated every day.

Hope all you lucky devils enjoy them!

Son of a bitch! @Kainy got me back and THEN SOME. Because he's insane with generosity.
