Now that we're past Halloween, it's time for turkeys! And snowmen! And reindeer! And all sorts of good things! Soon enough, the very sight of a snowflake will be enough to send us into a nervous frenzy to find that damn winter coat we got last year, but for now at least it's going to inspire good old nostalgic memories.

Now, join me as I lament the fact my University doesn't cancel classes for snow think back to childhood winter days fondly.

Snow is a novelty in California. You have to go to the mountains to find it, and even then it's only a couple of inches at the very most. And then when we get bored of it, we can go home to where it isn't fucking cold.

Basically, this continues to be the best place for weather. Suck it, world.

This will be the first year I have lived in a place that doesn't have a couple feet of snow at all times in the winter as a matter of course. It will be very interesting to have to drive up into the mountains whenever I want snow.
