Zonugal have you actually cosplayed as Sinestro yet
Not yet but I think I'll actually have funds to pull it off.

The character design and CGI is painful to look at. The fact that in some shots Hal's shoulders look wider than he is tall and the lack of detail in the surroundings is pretty off putting. This looks worse than Clone Wars in regards to backgrounds and I am not sure if the character design is just as bad or maybe slightly better.
This seems pretty campy and forced to... even for a children show. I am not setting too high of hopes on this show and really feel I could miss it entirely with no notice of it having come and gone from programming history.
...Besides, no one makes green look as good as I do! >:3

hey chimera can I get opinions from you about transformers prime since we're talkin' modern CGI
personally, I think some of the animation is too smooth, the character design isn't the best, and the plots are occasionally boring
fight scenes own bones though

While I do like the texturing, particle effects, and most of the backdrops the character design is to big of a mesh from the movies and that horrid animated series that had the Indian professor who's daughter was really a transformer.
Some of the transformers have pretty decent character designs (like RC) but most are a bit annoying. The humans are too basic in my opinion.
I do like how much more mature the series feels, it seems they took this incarnation of the Transformers universe more serious. Bumblebee really should be able to talk though. That is INCREDIBLY annoying.

The most offensive thing about Clone Wars is that they basically just copied the character design from Tartakovsky's version and just made them three dimensional. I mean yeah, it's all pretty much just caricatures of actual actors, but there is a pretty distinctive style to the drawn toon and the CG toon pretty much just lifts it. If you're gonna spit on the excellent work Tartakovsky did for Clone Wars and make something else to replace it, at least have the decency to come up with your own character models.
I'll drink to that.
What really pissed me off about the whole thing was he denied Tartakovsy's work as being canon.
It's leagues better than his shoddy imitation, but Lucas apparently thought he could do better. Knowing him, he probably thinks he has.
If nothing else, at least Tartakovsky's show won three emmys.

It really wasn't all that great.
Wasn't terrible, but its timeslot pretty much demanded that it pander way more than I liked, and they had to cut down on the more blatant violence.
All in all, I wanted to get into it, but the animation was too inconsistent, and the whole show was just a little too wacky for me.
Does Lucas seriously have no-one around him to show him some tough love and tell him all his ideas are fucking shite?
This seems to be the problem in a nutshell.
In the first trilogy, he wasn't a super rich douche who could just ignore everyone who didn't agree with him. The newer movies suffer greatly because of this.
Also, here's something I just came across.
It's a fairly lengthy speech Lucas made, some twenty-something years ago. I think.
It's a lengthy speech in which Lucas, in response to the film studios of the time going back and revamping and messing with old movies, basically says "Quit fucking around with classic stuff. You're ruining it."
The more things change, the more they stay the same, eh George?

whoa did I just see Stephanie Brown in this episode of Young Justice
What episode? Where at?
In "Failsafe", when you see what looks like a bunch of people hiding in the Batcave, the camera pans over to Alfred and there's two girls standing in front of him. One is taller, with red hair, and the other is a bit shorter, and is blonde.

That wasn't the Batcave, that was a stadium or something
And I don't think that's Stephanie Brown. It's probably either Wonder Girl or Arrowette, as they both went to a prep school in the comics. Although they couldn't use Cassie originally they said they got the rights later. But they've also said Arrowette will appear at some point

I guess I watched too much Justice League.
Or maybe just enough.
As do I.
Although I do adore Sinestro.
god, Sinestro in that newest issue of GL
nearly dethroned John just for that one page
Coran Attack!
Young Justice
I love that costume so much
plus Alan Scott in a flashback
Kyle hasn't shown up but honestly I wouldn't be surprised. They've been putting everybody in this show
I'm a little sad that Robin in it is apparently Dick and not Tim for some weird reason though

Dick is Robin and Wally is Kid Flash because they're all just starting out (although Dick is the youngest but has been doing it the longest)

Oh really now?! Kinky...
Coran Attack!
And rafts of young boys all over the country discover that they're colour-blind.
Ideally it should be a cartoon to teach these children that they are inferior to their peers.
I'll drink to that.

The Forever People and the Super-Cycle are straight out of the comic series
I'm glad they're borrowing heavily from it while still doing a lot different
except instead of a pilot I was a police officer on house arrest
then I spent a lot of time drinking soda and berating kyle rayner
it was a pretty good dream, as far as they go
