Fuck Labyinthian. Fuck it. Fuck it to hell. Fuck it and its stupid fucking hard boss. Fuck it.
That guy is the worst. I was only able to kill him by
Using the Sanguine Rose to summon dremora to fight him. They would usually only get 2 or 3 hits in, but the staff was fully charged so it was just a matter of wearing him down.
I dont even know what that
summon
is. Im level 10 with a bunch of t1 spells and an axe. Its going...less than well.
That seems like a very, *very* low level to be there at, you might be below the minimum level it can set monsters to which is what is making it so hard.

Yeah in regards to leveling, I will like with 13ish hours played, I should be a lot higher.

Shit that's my next quest. Guess I'll skip it for now and come back to it.
Does anyone have the location of any soul capturing weapons? I have the soul trap spell but it is a little hard to use in a fight.
Pwfft. No. Snipe, Fire Magic, AND Dual Flame Atronachs. Or Flame enchanted weapons will do. Level has nothing to do with it, hardware and spells/options do. Or, get some wicked poison and go crazy.
Alternatively: Beast Form and goodluck.
Or you could do what I did...
There is a Dragon Wall nw? ish of Whitemane. It has a fairly powerful dragon AND a undead Dragon priest. (the mask dropping kind). Sucker has a Staff of Fireball on him. Recharge it after the fight and CLEAN UP!

where are good weapons to be found? I'm using the same ancient nord sword of cold I found in Bleakfalls. My skills are out of whack so I'm getting pummeled by everything.
Just want to say again. Fuck this place with everything fuck I have left to fuck.
A. Can you cast Fireball? Not Flame-this or that? B: Cast away. Frost Trolls hate it AND Firebreath. If you have the 2nd stage of Firebreath unlocked you will wipe the floor with them.

Craft them yourself OR buy the ones that Grey-Mane sells at Skyforge near the Companions alehouse in Whiterun.
So I read on the offical Skyrim boards that a guy did a test on magika regen in combat, and it looks like bonuses from items are not affecting it at all. I hope this is a bug. =/

Its not those, Im at the end fighting the boss. I have firebolt dual casting right now. Poking my head out when I can. His lightning is just cast so damn fast that everytime I peak out, I get hit and it takes over half my health.
So, apparently there's a really awesome quest that starts in the Winterhold Inn. The Innkeeper was talking about something that sounded like it was going to end up being a quest, concerning Ranmir and his lost lover, but it didn't go anywhere, and it only took me walking outside to realize that Ranmir is dead.
He died during the College of Winterhold questline.
Does this mean that I'm screwed out of an awesome quest?
Though, I did try reloading an earlier save where he was still alive, and despite talking to the Innkeeper and then to Ranmir it didn't seem like there were any obvious leads.

Ah. I tend to Dual fist Lightning myself when facing casters. If I remember using the Force Shout plus the Doublefisted spark (yes spark, for the firehose effect) more or less put him on Empty in the Magica department. Alternatively, get the 2nd tier Ward spells in Winterhold and keep that up when you face him. Either way it's a lot of dodging and keeping him off balance.

have you tried dropping the difficulty down? you can always turn it back up later if things get too easy.
Question: Is crafting worth it? Can you make better armor, weapons, rings, etc than you can find? I'm only level 3, but the gear I'm finding is way better than the stuff is says I could craft.
Second question, how do you craft? I turned hides to leather than leather to strips. Then I'm like "Derp".
Third: How do you get metals? I can hunt animals for hides, but can't find metals no wear.
Also do you find recipes for potions, etc? I had a bunch of items and tried alchemy, but it was like "derp, you failed to make anything useful"
Also what is the main quest? I ran off after the dragon attacked. I didn't want to join the legion, so ran in some random direction. Now I'm lost. Ain't I suppose to be tracking that dragon down that attacked the village?
Also who is that guy that tried to kill me (in the very beginning). I want to put him on my hit list.
So I read on the offical Skyrim boards that a guy did a test on magika regen in combat, and it looks like bonuses from items are not affecting it at all. I hope this is a bug. =/
That doesn't sound right at all. My Magicka regenerates Hella-fast.
On a Skyrim walkthrough someone asked for help in Riverdale, specifically when looking for a place to trade or sell things. Does anyone know where this can be done?
Is anyone having any issues with screenshots? I've been having a great time with this and just hitting print screen whenever I see something awesome (Which is often!), and I just went to the folder to find one to show someone and it seems like they're all corrupted? Paint and Photo Viewer can't even open them, and if I open it in photoshop it looks like this:
Except not black and white (For some reason if I save it out of photoshop it loses whatever colours it had, but the colours there were wrong too). Has anyone heard anything about this?

Hmmm. I'm specializing in Lighting...and I tried out my first Rune today. Heh. Drop Mines that shoot lightning. Hell yes. Frost Runes are especially useful in kiting.
So some guy wanted to tag along with me when I went to Eldergleam or whatever it was. Now, I always have some misgivings about this sort of thing, but I figured I'd let him. I lose the guy pretty quickly, I figure it's probably for the best. So I'm most of the way there, and I check out a location and whooooops it's a troll camp
So I decided to try it and suddenly a giant runs up and clubs the troll, now he's after me, I have no health so I just book it at full sprint
I manage to scramble down a cliff face and when I look up the giants stalking around up there. And I watch for a second, and a flash of a man-shaped shadow goes off the cliff. I think my guy may have caught up.
I couldn't find his body.

I think this might be the best game ever.
I'm going about my archmage business, trippin' balls in my quarters, enchanting items, you know that sort of thing. I run out into the middle of the courtyard and a fucking BLOOD DRAGON comes screaming out of the sky and proceeds to light me on fire. One of the most epic dragon fights I have had ensued. I'm ducking in and out of pillars to avoid the dragon's fire, casting atronachs to tank distract him. Lightning and spell effects are flying, and out of magicka with just a bit of health left, I charge screaming at the thing launching fireballs from my staff and with a slash of my sword he goes down. Spoilered for huge.
Now there is a pile of dragon bones rotting in the College courtyard.
And now Archmage Lizardman is enjoying a drink with his weird College buddy.
So I beat up some lady in a bar. She was so impressed that she was willing to follow me to the ends of the earth and carry hundreds of pounds of shields, and pelts and ore. Then, while I was looking for a book, she got killed by a ghost dual-wielding swords. After running around a catacomb spraying fire everywhere and making pincushions out of everything (and nearly dying myself), I returned to her corpse.
...to loot all the stuff I had made her carry.
I buried her under all of the shields that I couldn't bring back with me. And took her steel plate armor to give to my next pack mule...apprentice.

Yea, I lost him too on the way there. Its much to dangerous a journey for some unarmored fop.
I suppose I will see what the purpose of him coming on the trip was supposed to be next playthrough..

Metric ton of them and they can ALL agro you if you don't kite one or two out at at time. Blood hard place.

Its not really something that happens all the time. Ive come across one attacking a town so far but thats it outside of the story ones/marked on map

They're unlocked after the first story dragon. They're not super common, so just be patient.
You can also ask about bounties at taverns. Sometimes it's a dragon!

edit.. seriously, whoever designed this pile of shit is a douche. the first time i've been having zero fun in 34 levels.
i also thought this. there are some npcs with a james woods-esque voice but I'm not convinced they sprang for him
