It should be abolished. If it was against the rules, that Yi would have been there to help defend. If Cho was up we would have been fine but he wasn't, it was a 3v5 and we couldn't do anything without him. He is a complete asshole and I hope I never have to play with him again. We could have easily won that game.
Honestly, I'm fine with backdooring, I've done it. Its a last ditch effort for a team that can't win team fights. That was not the case with our team, we dominated them in team fights. This Yi was a moron and I hate him so very much.
They sent a Lux to do a Vayne's job
I don't think removing an entire strategy from the game, because you suffered a loss due to one incompetent player, is entirely justified. By that measure, I could argue that ranged AD should be removed from the game, as that is the class I see people fail most at, and consequently leads to many losses. I'll level with you - you are going to lose a lot in this game. a lot. Best thing to do is just ignore really terrible players and soldier on, otherwise you just get caught up in your own fury.
they go take baron while we're all bot, we take mid and bottom turret and inhibitor and both nexus towers
twenty minutes later
they take baron while we're all bot, they come after us and force us back
i heal up while they're all mid, go through jungle, eat their respawned inhibitor and head to the nexus
they decided to let lux b to stop me
they should have sent vayne
How in god's name does a 71 minute game end as 25 kills to 25 kills.
Seven players have over 300 CS; Vayne has 450 CS. How did that game run so long with so few fights?
Edit: also, what did Vayne do with all that money? I don't think that's anywhere close to 21.6k gold's worth of items, is it?
So I got my pc parts a day early right as the patch hit and Lux had her sexy new red skin.
I AM SO HAPPAH! SHARE MY JOY! LASERS FOR ALL!
Nothing beats getting a double kill and getting the triple ks'd. I don't care about the loss (of a kill), I'm spreading light wherever I go. Shaco get's peeled off my buddy with a snare and runs away.
DON'T FORGET YOUR PARTING GIFT! AAAHHHHHHH! *FWOOSH!*
It's after I started typing out let the sunshine in in all that I realized just how much I missed this game. 9/2/18 Make a joyful shout yeah?
Honestly, I think it's silly to run a team without at least 1 teleport, preferably someone that can hold a turret against 1 or 2 carries.
The mobility and versatility it brings is great. I can split push all day and teleport into the middle of a teamfight at any time.

I am being taken way too seriously about this backdooring thing. Its fine, sarcasm doesn't go through well on the internet. I was frustrated that someone would try a tactic that would not work at all in the current circumstance. I want him to rot in hell. I also lose constantly, I'm currently 829/821 in normal and 9/10 in solo ranked.

I had a handful of really good ganks early game, and so Talon and Ez started following me around for some sick frags. Janna decided to stick to Ez, and then Morgana decided that being the only visible member of the team was a bad idea, so why not follow the Malphite. We managed to get a couple of towers, but they had just warded the shit out of everything, and then Leona started eating our wards, so I couldn't gank for shit. I think we were 13-7 with 3 towers and two dragons up on them for about a half an hour before someone did something. Basically, we were all either tanky or had good escapes or had 21 utility+flash, and lolwards errywhere. And Ezreal was being pretty stupid, he had two tanky items before he had two deeps items; we were low on damage and high on running the fuck away.
Vayne had 16k worth of items, but I think she sold some stuff; I remember her have a Whisper.
The best part was Lux hitting me with her bind, but I was still in range of their nexus to hit it. I had 347 health, and their whole team (sans Lux) had just killed our last nexus tower when I took it out.

This so much. I always see people recommending summoner spells to help out in 1v1 engagements or to help them escape a teamfight, but honestly to me the best spell in the game is teleport hands down. If I get pushed out of lane, no problem, I can buy some items, heal up and teleport back in in seconds. If I see my buddies being ganked a map away I can teleport in and turn the tide in out favor. Or maybe the enemy is being aggressive at bottom lane I can teleport in to a ward behind them in river and gank them immediately.
Teleporting in on warded Baron, Dragon, advance wards in their jungle, minions about to assault a tower, defending against back dooring, minions in the enemy base during a final push on nexus.
It is so stupidly useful that if I can get away with it i'll take it every time. I'll often run things like ignite/tele or flash/tele just because of how overwhelmingly useful the spell is.
Yet you hear other people talk and they think it is trash. Or even worse people love it but they don't want to be the one to take it. To me it is probably the most game changing spell.

I always run TP in soloQ to save lanes because they never ward because they are dumb and I know I can do it because I have 2 wards covering both sides of mid at all times
I've picked up so many kills by teleporting in behind over extended teams.

Teleport isn't trash, why would it be? I don't usually run it because back when I played Flash + Exhaust was stupid good, but once I get back I should put it into the rotation.
So, I need to confess to my first true raging last night (this is more for Chaos, cause he was there). We have our 5-7 regulars we play with nightly, and I think we make a good team. We all have roles we've kinda fallen into, so they're pretty much the default. You want to play something different, that's totally cool and we'll all practice other roles. But we let each other know before we queue.
Our normal AD carry get's to be 'captain' and I have last pick. Hell yeah, haven't been last pick in over a week. I'm taking Nasus if the matchup is good. I don't even have time to say this before my teammate bans Nasus... He didn't even say anything. I'm really annoyed at this point, and give him some flak over trolling a teammate (He's banned Nasus on me before when I've said I wanted to play him). Whatever. Then, with 13 seconds remaining on his pick, he says he doesn't want to play AD carry this game and locks in Shyvana. My annoyance turns into rage and I dodge queue. I decided it would be better to call it a night than to play in my current state. I was also really annoyed at him from the previous game in which he wandered away from a pending team fight in mid to farm/push top. We lost that fight.
Sorry for raging, Chaos.
That AD carry is such a DICK. you should ban him next time he plays with you.
All honesty I didn't know you planned to play Nasus and you normally ask for him to be banned when your not playing him (which you had not all night). I picked Shy to trade with Chaos so I didn't have to first pick a carry and he was trolling me by saying he wouldn't play her. On top of that we usually toss jibes around all game and I threw a few your way but I did not at all expect to cause any anger/hate. Sorry for that sir i shall never ban your Nasus again without permission .

The number of times I have, or a team mate has, tp'd to a pushed tower to take/defend it is countless.
Also re: backdooring there was a game when I, as Nasus, started backdooring them along bottom lane while a 4v5 teamfight was happening in mid at our inhib tower.
I take their inner tower as the teamfight starts to turn South and my teammates are dying.
"Keep going, you'll at least pull some away from mid."
All four of my teammates die.
"Right I'll come back to stop them."
"Forget it, we're down for ages, you won't be able to hold them"
They take our inhib tower, and our inhib as I'm pressing their inhib tower, figuring why not base race if we've lost anyway?
I take their inhib as our first nexus tower goes down.
A teammate spawns.
He blindly rushes in to the fray at our second nexus tower.
An enemy has been slain.
Your tower has been destroyed.
An enemy has been slain.
An ally has been slain.
An enemy has been slain.
Slowly our team comes back from the grave and fights them off of our half dead nexus.
All this time I'm pushing their first nexus tower, their second.
Ace.
I solo the Nexus, Qing all day long and we take the win.
Backdooring works.
I run teleport on every champion I play so far. Short list, but still. Really hard to lose lane with teleport, and boy does it help when you have more R then you know what to do with. Twenty four seconds is not a long time span. Also, sometimes I wonder if enemies even realize why they're losing a cluster team fight. These snares, shields, and aoe just keep coming from somewhere off panel.
I LOVE when people fight on the other side of grass or a corner. I can contribute the entire fight unseen.
AP solo top Taric: Someone convince me why this is a bad idea. 2.1 AP ratio, 1.3 of which is AOE plus a .84 ap ratio on a self heal makes me think his sustain is good enough and he can actually do good damage late game.
Edit: What was that patch, did the jungle change again?
Oh great, this patch broke the colorblind mod I'd been using. I remember seeing a really quick and dirty fix on the official forums (a Riot post) but I can't seem to find it anymore. It had something to do with changing some healthbars to black. Anyone remember that?
Otherwise it's bye bye to LoL. It's nigh unplayable right now.
A huge sigh of relief. The mod was very quickly updated and it works again.
I so wish Riot would implement their own colorblind mode though. About 8% of white males have this red-green colorblindness, that's a fairly sizable part of your customer base.
What mod is this, Mukk? ItzWarty's mod was last updated for Graves.

Its a bad idea because you won't get any kills, whereas on bottom lane you can feed your carry and pick up that assist gold. Why farm minions against some bruiser who will either kill you or run away long before you kill him? That's boring.

jungle shaco in ranked, at like, 20 min i was 0/1/9 which felt weird. our top olaf pooped all over their riven and pretty much solo pushed into their top rax. galio/cait handled the rest. i didnt farm much, but had decent items. i was disruptive early, though i didn't feel like i was why we won. doesn't matter though.
i think he's just kind of an unusual pick that people don't really know what to do with. also wasn't he kinda UP at one point in the past? people still might be a little gunshy about playing him cause his reputation may be tarnished from that
Honestly, you don't see any of the true tanks very much, outside of Rammus (because he can jungle). Tankydeeps+ccSupport mostly eclipses the need for them, and tankydeeps tends to do better in lane.
i dunno, galio really does do fantastically in solo top. he's one of the best. he also counters a few FotM champs in mid lane (ask WhiteShark about the leblanc vs. galio matchup sometime)
