Also, if MorroW doesn't draw TvZ, I bet he can qualify for up and downs. He's a fricken beast! Drives me nuts that he won't play ZvZ, it's so much more stable now than it has been in the past. Saying you'll offrace your mirror is like saying you never want to be a top tier player.
Also, you're right on the Ryung thing, can you believe the up and downs have 30 people?

I only watched the first series between Alicia and Losira and turned it off in disgust near the end of the second game. But I did see on the TL calendar that it was still going 5 hours later, so thats pretty crazy.
Has SotG been good? I haven't had time to watch and I generally don't bother listening. Considering staying up for it tonight. Anyone know who the guest is?

because I guess there's been an air problem in this game that people have really needed a summary of

His whole premise of "There should be no such thing as a "ground based" or "air based" race" bothers me a lot. You already have the option to not compete in a fight over Air control. You can choose to go Infestor Hydra or Marine Thor Tank or Blink + Storm and deny your opponent's air advantage >_< You always have options in Starcraft (usually)

I think it was a vague thing about "vikings are not fun enough"
which I think is a fair point to make, but vikings are hardly alone in that.
Starcraft 2 is full of units that are kept in glass boxes marked "break in case of X" and once X happens you break that box and you are ok.
If Protoss makes Colossus, Terran and Zerg break their Viking and Corrupter boxes.
If Terran makes tanks, Protoss breaks their Immortal box.
If Zerg makes hydras, Protoss breaks their Colossus box and is fine.
Counters aren't even fundamentally the problem, it's just that a lot of units in Starcraft 2 require very little control to be effective, which takes away a lot of the fun of using a unit.

immortals are good in other cases
so are vikings
unless I'm missing the point, I get that hard countering isn't ideal but most of the units if not all do serve at least to work that way against multiple units. corruptors become brood lords which gives them another type of value. vikings I get against colossus but also voids, warp prism play, carriers/mothership if anyone made them.

Mostly they've just been talking about Dreamhack and all the things that were done right/stuff other tourneys could add, then Artosis started talking about players being rude or some such before games are started.
I think he might shout us on SotG since he read the thread on TL where Dover said he hopes that iNcontrol would do that, on his stream, but he is drinking.
Attero is actually one of the nicest and best Protoss streamers so I agree with Dhal here. He deserves a lot more attention than he gets. Axslav is also underrated and is probably my single most favoritest Protoss streamer

I must admit that, honestly, I get the most Axslav enjoyment out of his bumbling PvP games where he strategically outplays people hard and then just, say, forgets to forcefield while his army explodes.
