I haven't played the career yet just the Road to Wrestlemania and so far it's fucking frustrating. This time there is only the one story to play where you're Sheamus and you team up with Wade Barret, Drew Mcyntire, and William Regal which is cool. Unfortunately so far there are several instances where you have to win the match, then hit Y for the cut scene where you lose the match. One of those matches I lost the normal way and it didn't count so when I did it right and was winning and then got beat during the cut scene I was not amused.
I had a feeling it was Truth that was the one for whom the double standard was held (he was caught at the same time as Bourne, but he was in the main event so they only fined him).
I think it's more that they couldn't scuttle the Survivor Series main event over Wellness and there are zero other tag teams that could have filled that role against Rock and Cena. It's still a double standard, but an understandable one in terms of "this has to happen first".
1) Silence 2) Books must be returned by the last date shown 3) Do not interfere with the nature of causality

I'm sure the fact that it was a new policy against Spice was part of the rationalization. I personally don't care if they smoke weed or weed-likes, but yeah, it looks bad when they make exceptions to their policy.

The Wellness thing is interesting. It occurred to me last night that Awesome Truth was possibly only being built up for this one match, and wouldn't really go any further.
Now I'm wondering if that hunch was correct, or if this is all a Wellness policy issue.

WWE doesn't fuck around about Wellness issues. Still I'm a bit peeved that we won't be seeing Truth for at least a month due to him using synthetic weed, assuming that's what he did. Maybe it's my Libertarian views coming to the forefront but I think it's really stupid to punish people so harshly for that shit, especially with the schedules they deal with.

I glitched the game during the Rumble after getting to #25. I went to grapple Tyson Kidd and then my character did the grapple motion and just went right all the way out of the ring and out of the screen and never came back. And now I have to do the Rumble all over again. So sad.
Oh yeah and Air Boom aren't ruined, if that was the case they'd have been stripped of the tag titles already. I'm more interested to see who they feud with when Bourne comes back.
One more thing about the Wellness stuff, I'd also lay part of the blame for this on Brian Kendrick.

I'm surprised they weren't stripped of the belts, due to 30-day mandatory title defense limit
Damn, one month into Universe mode and already two guys have had to retire due to fluke injuries: Yoshi and Gabriel
Looks like my Rumble card is gonna be something like:
The Rumble match
World Title: Henry vs. Orton
WWE Title: Punk vs. Triple H
IC Title: Cody vs. Bryan vs. Sin Cara
Tag Titles: Air Boom vs. Swagger/Ziggler
"Now kids, if it's your first time, don't draw too hard on the bong or you'll just cough out all the smoke. This is the last ounce I can get until the weekend, so it has to last."
Maybe it's been a while but I don't recall Warrior using the F Bomb in every sentence when I was a kid. If he did it would have made his promos a lot more coherent, at least.
Big Show and Henry had a confrontation which ended with Henry getting knocked out. That leads to Daniel Bryan coming out and cashing in but Long came out and said since Henry was on the disabled list due to the ankle the cash in didn't count.
While many will rightfully point out this makes no sense due to the whole Mania thing I for one HOPE it leads to a DB heel turn.
I still say one big reason for Vince getting behind Punk is the fact that he knows he won't have to deal with any Wellness violations from him.
According to Dave Lagana, that's exactly what his early WHC (or was it ECW?) title runs were. There was a bit about Vince McMahon actually sitting down during a fatal fourway and making the call to change the finish so Punk wins, because apparently some big drug story was about to break.
I wish he didn't take down his archive, there was a lot of good stuff there that I can't remember.
Jonah Hill was advertised to be the special guest host for last nights RAW in Hershey, PA. Hill did not appear on the show and no explanation was given by the commentators. According to PWInsider.com, Hill was never actually planned to be in Hershey, PA.
Accroding to reports, all of his segments were filmed weeks ago in Hollywood and last night RAW was re-written so heavily that WWE decided to not air Hill's segments because the content wouldn't have made sense.
OK that shit needs to stop, although you could say they had a good excuse for it due to the R-Truth thing. And Raw was pretty good I guess.

They really do have to stop this last-minute bullshit. That is NOT the way to run a fucking billion-dollar company...

Yoshi Tatsu got a career-ending injury in his first week. Poor guy.

Unless that is a thing that's no longer enforced

only when creative cares
like when Sheamus did to try and get out of defending the title way back(when Zack Ryder was #1 contender for 15 seconds!)
His suspension started on Nov. 1 I think so he won't be back till early December.

But I'm depressed to hear the Hunico/Gabriel match got no heat from the live crowd. Not a good sign for either of them, dammit.
