My loving husband suprised me not too long ago with a Lenovo ideapad K1, which is an Andriod based system.
Looking to spice it up some more!

Some of the apps I have so far is:

-Stumbleupon (awesome app btw)
-Amazon Kindle
-Angry birds HD
-Facebook
-Google Sky Map
-Scrabble
-Skype
-Sense Analog clock

Plus some stuff that was preloaded that I have yet to find interest in. Anyone with an Andriod tablet recommend some apps (preferably free!)? thanks!

Amazon Appstore : This is a must have for any Android device. You'll need to enable sideloading to use it, but the free app of the day is worth it.

SwiftKey Tablet X : Though not free, it's one of the better keyboards out. The tablet version has two layouts-standard and a split version that is not only thumb-friendly, but adds a number pad.

Flixster: THE movie listing app. Also works as an Ultraviolet client, if you have any UV movies.

Google Music: Why don't you have this? 20K of your songs in the Cloud, plus Market song purchases.

XBL: Nox Aeternum / PSN: NoxAeternum / NN:NoxAeternum / Steam: noxaeternum

Pulse is a great news reader that allows you easy to access to multiple sources and puts it in plain text for easy reading and loading. I've been using it for about a year and love it.

Another, if you enjoy reading/comedy (which I assume you do being you're on a forum and the PA forums on that), is the Cracked app. It's basically the Pulse app, but specifically designed for Cracked. Is a little more up to date and handles better.

Google+ if you're like Facebook, but crave something more.

    Pandora for music etc.

And as AngelHedgie said, the Amazon Appstore.

I personally don't game on my phone too much especially because I need a new battery, but there are some really good looking ones on the AA. Stuff like Plants v.s. Zombies, Peggle, etc.

Awesome, thanks guys for the suggestions. I am on a downloading spree now!

Amazon App store had me excited till it blocked me from downloading. It won't let me have any apps because I live in canada :(. And I wanted the Muffin Knight game... Hopefully sometime soon they will go 'international'...

Also noticed there is finally a proper Netflix app. That is going to be awesome for my tablet!

I am so in love with this thing. I have my whole office getting tablet fever.

Evernote is handy, especially if you are forgetful.

Inotia3 is a fun game (dunno if that works on tablets)

Zelda battery life widget..... So epic :-D

    In the strangest of ways...

Hm... what's on my A500 right now...

Aldiko is a nice little free e-reader that isn't attached to the stores.
Dropbox is a great way to transfer small files from PC to tablet.
Gmote is a great little app that lets you use your tablet as a touchscreen mouse on yr pc, if that helps you.
Moboplayer is great for video files (compatible formats!)

    If you're rooted:
Root Explorer is a nice file management system
Titanium Backup does so much (google it!)
    SetCPU if you overclock

    Fun games:
    Dungeon Defenders
    Fruit Ninja
    Battleheart has me smitten
Minecraft, while in alpha, looks to be great

If you, by chance, read comics (a good deal of my use, and I travel all the time with this as my main person computer) ACV and MyComics (latter is paid) are great.

That should be most of it.
