chapter 4 of Higurashi came out on steam today + Christine Love's My Twin Brother Made Me Crossdress as Him and Now I Have to Deal with a Geeky Stalker and a Domme Beauty Who Want Me in a Bind!! (aka Ladykiller in a Bind) came out recently
ladykiller in a bind is an erotic VN that is more or else exactly what it says on the tin
Higurashi releases need to speed up so i can finish it and move onto Umineko
Shameful pursuits and utterly stupid opinions

There are also some Japan-only(?) spin-offs, but they don't count.
Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate 0 are part of a larger "Science Adventures" series, preceded by Chaos;Head and followed by Robotics;Notes, but from what I gather there isn't a lot of overlap, and no official english releases anyway, soooo...
You could also opt for the [SUBJECT VERBOTEN] adaptation, it's pretty good. (the Steins;Gate one. The others, not so much. Robotics;Notes is okay, I guess. Steer clear of the Chaos;Head adaptation.)

The RN adaptation is solid, it's just not as good a story as SG. And the CH VN was fan translated. I think.
Thanks for the responses! My big takeaway is that I shouldn't start the Semi;Colons series with Steins 0 on the PS4. Now to wait for the next Steam sale...

Is there a difference between the Stein's;Gate PC version and Vita version?

There's also two completely different PC versions. The JAST release that's been out since March 2014 or the recent PQube Steam release. The JAST version has ridiculously better phone text and a much better font. The Steam version has slighter higher rez CGs. The translation is the same because it's JAST's on all the English releases.

I think I have the JAST version. I bought it from the J-List booth at comicon and they do a lot of stuff with JAST.

Here's how Text looks on the JAST PC version.
Here's how Text looks on the PQube Vita/PS3/Steam versions.
The main reason to play the Vita version is the portability. Other than that, JAST > PS3/Steam versions for non-portable versions.
Their delivery on those things is.... batting really low % numbers.
Speaking from personal experience, Sekai Project is run by people who despise both fans AND translators. They're headed by a thin-skinned proto-Trump who both publicly and privately lies as second nature and that attitude is carried down to the people under him. "Promise anything and everything that gets a foot in the door or $$ now. When it turns out to not be true at all, we've already got them invested." It's not just their customers that they gaslight, it's everyone they come in contact with. And they do it with even the most trivial things too, so it's not even like it's some master plan, just incompetence and an utter lack of organization or planning. I'm not sure if that makes it better or worse. They just seem to view what any claims or promises they made as things that will be further negotiated later, always in their favor, and something they can always blame on someone else for why they can't come through on it.
I've had some dealings with them that have been... let's say extremely unpleasant. And may still be stuck dealing with them further, which does not enthuse me at all. The only good thing to say about them is that they pay significantly better than Jast and MangaGamer, in large part I suspect because they pass on that cost to their customers through constant crowdfunding that they never fully deliver on and I highly suspect are a constant bootstrapping operation that will collapse the moment a major one fails. Jast and MG have their own laundry list of reasons why they're shitty to work with too though. There's no winning move in the low-end VN localization field but not to be a part of it at all.
I'm kinda upset that The Labyrinth of Grisaia still isn't out yet, six fucking months after the release of the censored version on Steam that cuts out an entire third of the game and changes lots of the dialog/story of what remains.
This is also the company that still hasn't delivered ports of games (Vita, Android, iOS) for kickstarters from 2014 yet keeps having those ports listed on every new Kickstarter they release. It's like, are you fucking kidding anyone? They haven't even started on most of those ports.
And the whole complete unwillingness to publicly claim that Denpasoft is the same company (when it's ran by the same people) and their unwillingness to be upfront on uncensored versions of games compared to almost every other company in the business, including the Japanese ones, that are completely upfront, is ten levels of aggravating.
I mean, their head of the English side of the company seriously threw a giant tantrum on Twitter because someone was hosting a pirated version of the patch, called the entire visual novel community ungrateful trolls, and said he never wanted his company to work on visual novels in the first place... and over the next few days just about all of the customer-facing English people were abruptly fired, his entire twitter history wiped clean, and all mention of him scrubbed from their site despite him still being king shit of asshole mountain, so them being a giant clusterfuck isn't exactly an industry secret; it's just not visible if all you follow from them is Kickstarter after Kickstarter after Kickstarter.
My favorite fuckup of theirs was the entire WAS debacle though, which pretty much captures the entire spirit of Sekai Project. Lie, lie, lie, in hopes that in a few days or weeks, it'll be true. Multiple times over, they claimed to have a completed patch ready to go, or have received goods that were sitting in the warehouse, only a month or two later it turns out no work had been done, no goods existed, and everything was the Japanese developer's fault... who themselves had just been found to be engaging in paid stealth marketing and gone to complete radio silence literally a day or two before SP dumped all the woes of the project at their feet and decided they were defaulting on pretty much everything in the Kickstarter. Only TWENTY months after they said that production of physical goods began, and ELEVEN months after they said they'd received everything, did they supposedly begin shipping out PARTIAL orders... at the very end of October this year.
Was that the case where they were charging more money for the Steam version + Patch than the adult version outright?
Or was that the case of them being mad about the existence online of an already completed fan translation of a game they later released?
The former. I believe (but don't quote me on this) the group made their own patch for the Steam version, adding in the adult content, using the adult version as a base, not just hosted the over-charged adult version 'DLC' patch. Dovac flipped his shit about pirates not showing him proper respect, made all kinds of passive aggressive legal threats, paranoid rants about everyone being out to get him, refused to talk about it (while talking about it) unless they do everything he says and post a groveling apology, and predictably, when it blew up, left with some choice comments like "I can't wait to exit this market. Jesus christ." and "FUN FACT DID YOU KNOW OUR FIRST GOALS IN THE COMPANY WAS NOT TO DO VISUAL NOVELS AT ALL" before the Twitter wipe in the next few days.
On the plus side, the Sekai Project stuff probably led Front Wing to reach out directly to the western audience for feedback. They've had multiple friendly question and answer sessions on both reddit and 4chan where they were pretty upfront and cordial about things. One of them was even asking for honest feedback on why Corona Blossom didn't do as well as they hoped which they got actual and friendly answers to.
And man, it has been so damn refreshing how open and transparent the Muv-Luv English team is. That's a Kickstarter I'm happy I supported.
One of the latest dramas was when Sekai announced Baldr Sky without a translation team or plan or even any work done on it whatsoever.
But it was a game that Aroduc/Seiha, the proflic fan translater who's brought over tons of games, had been translating for a long time as their current project and was very nearly finished with Drive 1 (the entire first game) of the release. Instead of trying to hire Aroduc/Senkai for the project, which Sekai flatly rejected, Sekai made an offer for "grossly inadequate sum of money to hand over everything we've done and walk away, after being told at the very beginning that doing so was completely out of the question". Needless to say, Aroduc/Seihai told them to politely go fuck themselves.
So instead of having a complete fan translation the game... under Sekai it has no known team, is starting from scratch, is using tools that the fan-translation community made with no credit (it looks like), and they've only announced a cut and censored all-ages version which doesn't exist in Japan with refusing to comment on a uncut version or patch.
So yeah, exploiting and/or underpaying fan-translators. Especially ones with a long history of consistency and quality.
Finished replaying Hanako's route in KS (verdict: still really good). Re-reading WEE1 now.
I forgot how much of a psycho Haru is at first...
He constantly has impulses to kill Hagana just because she annoys him. Maybe that's taking the whole "Haru's a tsundere" thing a little too far? And IIRC it's never really explained why he's so violent at first. He can't be an actual sociopath because he starts showing empathy pretty quickly. And he seems to have had an OK home life, unless I'm missing some between the lines hints due to the translation or whatever reason.
My zombie survival life simulator They Don't Sleep is out now on Steam if you want to check it out.
Just got started with Steins;Gate (Steam version.)
Very first run here, haven't seen the anime either. Let's see how it goes.
I think I'm around the start of Chapter 4 right now. I wasn't quite expecting it to be this long (at least I think it's barely starting to get going.) It's awesome so far.

Ha, I started around the same time as you and I'm at pretty much the same point. It's awesome when it gets going but damn does it go on some cringey tangents.
Even though I haven't finished the first game, I guess it's time to buy Steins;Gate 0 while it's still on sale on the PAL PSN.

They might as well have made the second half of that anime a single episode because that's how most people ended up watching it.

Imagine watching as it aired and having to wait a week after every episode with all tje crazy plot happening.
It's frikken 2:30am but I got hooked in on this thing. Got an ending.
Irreversible Reboot
Wow, that... was something. I really wasn't expecting that.
Is there any sort of non-spoilery hint guide about how to get other endings? I kinda have a few ideas about another possible path, but only if a hunch I have is correct.
EDIT: Is this like 999 where I need to start a new game or can it be from my main save?

Can anyone give me a quick rundown on the Steins;gate series? I've heard good things, but am sort of lost as to which game to start with.
There are only two games in the 'series.' Start with Steins;Gate.

The RN adaptation is solid, it's just not as good a story as SG. And the CH VN was fan translated. I think.
No way. It's a sequel.
