I've been tasked at work with coming up with a couple of options for encryption that work partition-level and can be installed post OS installation. It also needs to be Free and Open Source. I narrowed it down based of what we need and it looked like Truecrypt was our best bet, but it got overruled an the grounds that it doesn't update on it's own... So it looks like we're going with a dm-crypt program. It looks to me like LUKS is the best one of those? So here's my question:

What are the differences between LUKS, cryptsetup, and cryptoloop; and do any of these support multiple users, as well as do the rest of the above listed?

I'd really appreciate the help, as I know 0 about Linux, save what I was able to dig up: thanks
