EA/DICE then reneged on the deal...but they announced it (rather sneakily) only via their twitter feed via a single tweet.
Long story short, class-action lawsuit ensued & EA/DICE attempted to appease the gamers by offering them Karkand a week earlier than everybody else.
They also re-wrote the End User License Agreement and made everyone accept the new terms over all systems.
Meanwhile on the PC & 360; not a single fuck was given.
I love the 870MCS, but do not play on a server with great ping with it. I'll see and hear the gun go off in their face and them show up at 100% on killcam. It goes away if I go to a server with 80+ latency though. :?
Still though, what a neat shotgun. Feels way more satisfying to use than the automatics. Honestly thinking of using it full-time, save for the few maps where it makes no goddamn sense. Odd, that at Colonel, the gun that I'm excited about is one available from Rank 1.
Anyone else here feel like Tehran Highway is the worst map? Damn, I hate that map no matter what game mode.
That's my favorite map, conquest. Rush is terrible there.
Love it on 32 rush, but holy mother of god is that map ridiculous on 64 rush. It feels nigh impossible to get past the first point.
And I think everyone collectively groans whenever they get to damavand peaks last rush points. Good lord I hate that tunnel.
Tehran and Metro rush are my favorite maps.
Favorite conquest is probably Caspian and Kharg.

That's a good point. And 32 man Tehran, its too small to support 64 players in any mode. I also love Seine Crossing, and am comically terrible in Davamand Peak rush. I dunno why, I get cushed. I've taken to trying to sniper and lobbing mortars.
It's disheartening to do 10k points on Tehran then do 1500 on Davamand.

I think PC and the 360 get updates simultaneously.
USAS with flechette will still be pretty bullshit, don't worry! It just won't be hilariously bullshit and will have an actual effective range limitation.

No, 360 still hasn't had any client patches other than the Day 1 patch. The patch that just came to the PS3 this week is allegedly still in cert for the 360 and should be released "soon." Impossible to say whether it will include these changes when it does arrive or not.
I also wonder if they will end up forking the PC and console versions w/r/t balance tweaks at some point. The nerf to mortars in this patch, for example, doesn't make much sense on consoles, where mortars are currently rarely used and easily countered.

Seems like there wont be much point taking mines over repair now. The chances of someone hitting your 6 mines within your lifetime are pretty slim.
