I remember when I unlocked that; it was the time I stopped using mines as an engineer. I realized that soon everyone would have it, and a repair tool would be more effective.

BF2 had a few servers when it was popular for pistols and knife only...wouldn't surprise me to find out someone had made one for BF3 as well. Course, it was a bit more understandable with BF2 when awards were more of a career undertaking rather than round by round.

man, fuck paddles. I've never gotten a kill with them and I'm god of revives.
Suddenly BF3 runs like shit for me. I mean, I get 60fps, it looks smooth, but it's way more unresponsive than it was a couple of weeks ago. The only thing I've changed are video drivers. Movement, ADS'ing, are all randomly choppy at times. Happened on the PA server, happened on other servers (with ping <60). Hell, sometimes my PDW-R takes like...stutter-shots where it sounds like I'm trying to rapid-fire a semi-auto.
Is this something with BF3? Or something with me?
That's how I see it. get alot of jeep and HMMV kills from people speeding into an area like jackasses.
I posted it before but...Stack some mines behind an unaware tank. Grenade or rocket those mines. One shot kill on the tank. Even funnier if it's a grenade and all the tanker knows is his 100% health tank just got one shotted with a grenade.
Plus, like SAMs, it makes the tank driver either stop and take a while to shoot the mines (opening himself to air strikes/RPG attacks/C4/etc) or get blown up. Worth it.

I only had the occasional weird glitch before the patch but now it's constant. Awesome.
There is a knife aimbot hack going around. Loaded into a server the other day and guy on other team was insta knife killing everyone from across the map. He was just standing in his own spawn and every time he would swing knife it would kill someone in other team's spawn.
This is probably what the guy is doing. He has 21k knife kills but taken only 2-300 dog tags.
I thought you could only have 6 mines, but they persist after you die. Are you telling me I can lay 6 mines per life?
