Windows Explorer opening folders in new windows

I have Vista.

I recently installed a lot of updates and now everytime I open a folder in windows explorer, it creates a new window. In the folder settings, it still has it checked as open in the same window.

What is causing this problem?

    Never mind apparently. All of the coding from the mass updates finally sorted itself out and they are opening in the same window again and another bug in a different program fixed itself too.
