i need help on excel sheet that contains dates and a group of celss under each date no i need to enter the date on another worksheet and below it returns the data in the cells under it

any one could help .........

    Without clicking on the link, it sounds like a vlookup situation, with the formula on another sheet referencing cells in the original sheet.

    In situations like this, I usually cheat by having the actual data on another sheet in a sensible format, then having the sheet that needs to be prettily formatted pull its data from it.

    I'm not sure you can easily do what's required without a macro or an intermediary sheet, given that the data's spread all over a horrible layout.

    I agree with LaOs. Do a help lookup on "vlookup"
