Hm, I can get an NSX to 2:09 pretty easy in GS (and I'm leaving a ton of time on the track because it still understeers a bit), but the '05 M3 @ 2:10.1-3 is so much more fun to drive. Conundrums!
So I guess we're participating in both classes though? How is that going to work where certain cars may favor one of the two tracks that night? Like, my S2000 is probably going to better on Nurburgring GP than it is on Sunset just because it doesn't have the top speed.

As far as I understand it, we're going to be randomly placed into two buckets, group A and group B.
Everyone races the same circuit, but Group A does, say, GS while Group B does ST. Then for the second race, on a different circuit, Group A does ST while Group B does GS. So it'll be pretty random so far as I know.
So either you have one general tune that balances, or you prepare for all four possibilities each week. :P
Anyone going to be around Sunday? I'd like to try these cars a bit with other people on the track (aka see how good they are at dodging wrecks >_>). I can't seem to pick a GS car and maybe this'll help decide.

Since I was thinking about running the RX-8, and definitely AM running the Z4, I think Vee and I should be unofficial race partners.
Then again, I'm pretty tempted to run the Evora 'just because', and am also considering the SEAT since they're being criminally neglected.

5 laps on 'Ring GP in the upgraded, but un-tuned Evora yields a 2:18.5. Since I now own it, I'll probably use it and take the role of 'Team sexy looking cars'.

I have been only thing I can think of is I'm being too conservative in the corners with the yellow brake line.

Yellow means go faster! :P
EDIT: Orange is about usually where I try to have the suggested brake line, but that's the ragged edge for many corners (Some you can barrel through without even touching the brakes despite what the line says), so if you're even slightly out of position, you may end up taking the corner slower than if you'd braked harder.
And I cannot race without the full suggested line in anything remotely close to a professional capacity. I tried and my times were abysmal.
But that's the only assist I use now (Other than not using a clutch, which I don't consider an assist because seriously, the MS Wheel does not make that practical).
