We haven't seen the haste staff from DW nor have we seen any shields from gunship (tank or heal) nor have we seen the offhand from Ultraxion. It's a buncha bullshit.
We only ever saw one Bone Link Fetish drop from Normal.
We just had our first drop from Heroic.
Not expecting to see another one ever again :P

This info dump is the last shot I'm giving Blizzard to convince me to come back to the game (even though its more of in the hands of the gaming press). There's a couple things I'm hoping to discover in this shit and if just one of them is fulfilled in this, I will fucking dump six months resub ASAP.
Can someone send me a scroll? Can't promise I'll resub, but the chances are pretty high. [email protected] is my email.
Waiting for support to remove the authenticator from my account. Anyone know how long this usually takes?

Not sure what to think about the loot system being put into LFR in MoP:
One really cool thing we’re doing is for Looking for Raid, which has been super huge for us in 4.3. The amount of people that are raiding now in comparison to what were raiding pre 4.3 is exponentially larger. I mean very very significant. So we felt that has been a huge success. But one of the places we have had trouble with is loot. Turns out everyone just rolls need, on everything in LFR. It doesn't really matter if it’s for you or not, everyone just needs. So one of the big changes we’re going to make with Mists is the introduction of a per-player loot system. So that will be just for LFR, but essentially every person will get to roll individually on the items that are on that boss. So if you win that roll, then it will look at the loot table on that boss, and if there’s an item for you, then you’ll get that item instead of just having it be everyone can roll, and if you win you guarantee get it. Instead you’ll roll individually and if your roll actually comes up as a win, if there’s an item that works for you, like say if you’re a druid, and there’s a druid item, you would get that item. That doesn't mean you’re always going to get a guaranteed thing when you win your roll, because there might not be an item on that boss for you to begin with. What it does mean is when you do win, you’re always going to get something that is right for you and it fits your class and feels specific. I think that’s really going to help with people feeling like they are running it constantly and “I never get my weapon” or “I never get my item”. That’s something that if it works there, we could definitely open it up to more parts of the game but that’s where we feel is a good place to start.
So...I mean, how does that fix the problem? Everyone is still going to roll, and unless they can clarify this, instead of rolling need against, say, 5 people for an item that you can use, you're always rolling against 24 other people, no matter what.
You're only rolling against other people who want the same gear as you.
Everyone rolls, everyone is ranked 1-25.
The boss didn't drop loot for 10 of the people, they're out of the running for an item.
Three of the four items the boss dropped aren't for you, you're still in the running for the last item which is for you.
You're now up against three people who were able to roll on that one item.
You happened to roll the highest of those people.
Item!
edit: remember that now they have per spec loot splitting rather than per class, so there's less people rolling on shit for the role they aren't doing
The Tillers faction will let you run your own farm! The farmer's market will provide daily quest to improve your farm every day, you will be able to clear plots of land and plant things like cooking ingredients, herbalism nodes, gifts for NPCs to build your reputation... etc.
Because we're totally not completely sick of Farmville yet!

But that's not how it works, at least not how it's explained.
The way they say it, everyone rolls. Those who win the rolls automatically win something from that bosses loot table that you can use.
In essence bosses won't have, say, 4 drops that everyone rolls on anymore. You are simply rolling for a chance at anything the boss can drop that you can use. Thus, no matter what everyone is rolling. It's not a situation where 4 gurthalaks drop so only melee dps can roll on them. Every single person rolls and 4 people get something from the loot table.
So if the boss has a dozen items it can drop, 4 people win, and those 4 people win one of whatever they can use from those dozen items.
Say, Morchok, has 3 items you could use. You'll get one. And it'll likely be random, so you could end up getting the same damn thing over and over, and ever actually getting what you need. And how about tier drops? How will that work? If I kill Ultra, there could be 3 non-tier items I can use for my class, but what I want is the tier item. Will it keep tossing me the same damn thing? Will it take roles into account for what it gives you?
They're gonna have to clarify it a lot. Because I'm having a real hard time not seeing how this is just straight up worse.
EDIT: Also it will do absolutely nothing to stop the people who roll on things they don't need. They'll still be in the running to take loot from people who could use it, just like before.
So far there's too much "we'd like to..." style stuff for me to consider this information solid in any way. I'll be waiting for beta to see how much they've actually implemented and how it works.

They've already said if there's nothing on the boss you can use, you get nothing.
yeah, I'm not really clear on what that system actually improves; it seems unnecessary if the class loot check is being implemented at the same time. It might even be a little bit worse, since now people who only need one thing out of two or three that are flagged for them won't have the option of passing on the stuff they don't want.
but, there's probably a more detailed explanation than that rambling run-on sentence coming, so

It confused me too. I almost read it as you are only rolling against your class, rather than everyone who can use, say, a sword. But it's really, really confusing.
Either that or you just automatically get everything that drops for your class and the actual roll is meaningless?
the goal seems to have less to do with actually doing a better job of distributing loot (and frankly beyond the improved role/class check thing I'm not really sure what you'd do about that) than it does to do with making the system more transparent. The sense I got from that post was that they want to minimize the sense people get that "they never win anything."
personally I think it'd be more frustrating to finally win the 'loot rights' roll and not get anything I actually wanted, but then I don't just need everything I can on LFRs either

Bah, they're only increasing the character-per-server cap from 10 to 11?
I knew I shouldn't have put too much stock in when they said they were going to try and allow you to just put all 50 characters on one server. That was probably the thing I was looking forward to the most (my slots on my main faction have been full since tBC and I've had to go without a dedicated bank alt since WotLK, and would have also liked to have had an opposite-faction alt for auction house shenanigans but no room for that either).

I will still hold out hope. It might just be easier to do 11 than to redesign the whole system like that. So easier > nothing (because they don't have time)
Read the whole thing now, quick pros and cons list:
Pros
*AoE Looting.
*No stat squish.
*Now has 7 Zones instead of 5 to provide alternate leveling paths for alts and such.
*New Warlock pets!
*Monsters can wear armor to get more visual differences.
Cons
*Only gaining an 11th character slot.
*No updated race models.
*Removal of "Have Group, Will Travel" Guild Perk.
*Pre-Expansion Event is apparently going to be rather low key.
*Challenge Modes apparently are just time trials and nothing else.
*Lack of Inscription info beyond "We are changing Major Glyphs in a way that will surprise players."
*Didn't they advertise a Dota Battleground? Guess that got scrapped since they're going to be releasing Blizzard Dota as a separate game.

They also had a payload battleground that seems to be gone
Also I got the impression that the updated race models are still coming, just won't be done in time for release. It sounds like Dwarves are done but I doubt they'll do only Dwarves (would piss off other races)
The warlock pets look is a meh since it's a talent I would rather have them do something with Arch to let us give our daemons armour and weapons to improve how we use them. It's like the hunter tree for pets
It also gives a use to arch other than new toy...... now I am bored
I am ok with gaining one slot I am also ok if they charge us for say $25 for 5 more
O boy more fun and games with the horror of 45 minute baron runs over and over with the guild drama again I cannot wait for that nightmare again
The cata event was rather low key and confusing if you did nto know what happened after the event
I still think they should have done little movies for both the horde and allaince explaining what happened off screen
Monsters all ready wear armour for a look just not the beasts of the world for obvious reasons
They said on the wowhead interview the payload BG is still set for release (set under STV) but the DOTA style one was shelved for now because they needed some new AI tech for it that they won't have in time.
We've killed madness every week since week 2. Never seen a single bow.
That bow is the bane of my hunter's existence. I've been running LFR since it opened, never once has the bow dropped for him. Every single time I've run it on any other character the bow drops. It's almost comical at this point. Especially given that apparently very few people play hunters at this point, as I seem to be the only one in the raid each time I've taken him.
After the first half dozen times it didn't drop I jokingly told my group that I probably wouldn't see it drop until MoP hits. Now the joke's not all that far from coming to pass.
The bow seems super rare, and, at least for my shaman, the 1h axe seems super rare. I've very rarely seen it drop to begin with and the few times it has, some rogue with the 397 daggers from the legendary quest takes them.
I have seen the bow a lot the axe a few times it's the healing mace I don't see that often and the few times I have a fight breaks out over it
As for people rolling on items in the lfr I am so used to people rolling for guilds and for "off specs"
It's never just 4 people more 8 or more
