"Glyph of Stars: Transforms your Moonkin Form into Astral Form. This glyph essentially makes your character appear as a spirit instead of a moonkin. You look very nearly like you do while dead -- but people can see you this time. And your armor, for that matter.
Glyph of Stars: Moonkin Form ability is replaced with Astral Form, conferring all the same benefits, but now appearing as an astrally enchanted version of your normal humanoid form.
Glyph of the Chameleon: Each time you shapeshift into Cat Form or Bear Form, your shapeshifted form will have a random hair color.
Glyph of the Orca: Your Aquatic Form now appears as an Orca.
Glyph of the Stag: Your Travel Form now appears as a Stag and can be used as a mount by party members.
Glyph of the Treant: Allows you to shapeshift into Treant Form. The act of shapeshifting frees the caster of movement slowing effects.
The Moonbeast: You can now cast Healing Touch, Rejuvenation, and Tranquility without canceling Moonkin Form.
Glyph of Righteous Retreat: During Divine Shield, you can invoke your Hearthstone 50% faster.
Glyph of the Falling Avenger: You slow fall during Avenging Wrath.
Glyph of Bladed Judgement: Your Judgement spell depicts an axe or sword instead of a hammer, if you have an axe or sword equipped.
Glyph of Winged Vengence: You grow larger during Avenging Wrath.
Glyph of Mounted Kings: Mounting a paladin mount automatically casts Blessing of Kings on you.
Glyph of the Luminous Charger: Your paladin class mounts glow with Holy Light.
Glyph of Fire From the Heavens: Your Judgment and Hammer of Wrath critical strikes call down fire from the sky.
Glyph of Ice Lance: Your Ice Lance now hits 1 additional target for 50% damage.
Glyph of Counterspell: Your Counterspell can now be cast while casting or channeling other spells, but its cooldown is increased by 4 sec.
D'oh. The first person that I spoke to didn't remove my authenticator.
All done now. :P
So.. Dark Iron. Does it have a good population? I play at pretty odd hours so chances are you guys might be awake when I'm online.
* Everyone rolls on the items from a boss individually.
* If you win the roll by being one of the highest few rollers, the system checks the boss’s loot table and if there is an item for you, you win it. If not, you win some gold.
* This way other people cannot impact what you win, only the roll you get can.
* You aren’t always guaranteed something. If the boss doesn’t have an item you can use then you won’t win anything.
* It could be added to more parts of the game in the future, but LFR is a good place to start.
So everyone rolls after a boss dies. It creates a list of the top 5 rollers (or however many items drop off a boss in MoP). If you are one of the top 5, it checks the bosses loot table to see if there are any items that he can possibly drop that are flagged for your class/spec. If there is, it gives it to you.
How will it pick an item between 3 items you can use off the boss? Maybe there will be a lot more bosses and fewer items per loot table so that there is only 0-1 items on the boss for any given class. Or maybe it will just do an unseen /random and give you one of the items. I'm guessing that bosses won't drop Tier Tokens in LFR, and maybe just drops Tier Armor. You would never really see this because if you win a top 5 roll, it would just give you the Tier piece associated with your class.
For Example. I play a Prot Warrior. I kill Deathwing in an LFR. I roll after the boss dies, and get in the top 5. It just straight up gives me a Souldrinker. Or if I was playing as an Arms Warrior it would just straight up give me a Voice of the Deeps.
I don't see how this fixes the problem of "People roll need no matter what" that prompted this change. So they just auto made everyone roll need? What's different here. Unless it checks to see if you already have the item that is in the bosses loot table and then skips you and gives an item to the next highest roller. I guess we'll find out.
And what about different specs? Even one of the primary/secondary ones.

Yeah, bit of a bummer about the new models not being in (at least for launch). I've been on the fence about race changing my rogue from Undead to either BE or Goblin but I was holding out hope that they'd have this feature available, but this will probably push me over the edge. Might even consider Pandaren as well, but I'm not sure I'd want to see a belly paunch hanging out of a suit of Bloodfang armor.
Still, loads of good information otherwise. No more Garrosh? Thank christ. Sure, the inclusion of farmville will pretty much solidify the haters' cries of 'casualization' for this game, but whatever. If it's fun, I'll play it. If it's not, there are plenty of other options looming on the horizon.

I'd guess LFR will have the trading part disabled.

Aw, Monks had their auto-attack added back in, I missed that part on my first readthrough. Shit. I was looking forward to that - one of my favorite aspects of TOR, frankly.
They should keep the trading part but ban guilds from trading in the lfr
Because people might be nice enough to say opps I allready have that or that trinket is not quite as good as I thought and give it to someone else

It's not Farmville, it's HarvestMoon. ;-)
And I'm really disappointed by us killing Garrosh. In my eyes this is an admission that they suck at ingame story telling. Because in half the zones and all of the books you see the Garrosh that was a hothead and has been majorly reformed by the whole Cairne-incident. But somehow players still hate him and now Blizz sacrifices him to the mob instead of going with the clear cut villain in Sylvanas.

Here's a bit better explanation of the new LFR loot system from GC:
So a couple of things we’re doing that are a little different this time is, in Raid Finder and for the world bosses, we are not having loot rolls. We’re having per-player loot. So what this means is, the game will decide that X number of players, say it’s 3 to 6 in a raid, are going to get loot this time, and then it gives them loot that’s appropriate for their current spec, whether that’s their main spec or offspec. We feel like loot works really well in organized groups who can sit there and decide who’s gonna get the item, and when you’re with your guild or group of friends, even if you don’t get the item and they do, you know that still helps your progression ultimately.
None of that happens in Raid Finder, and there’s a lot of drama, a lot of hard feelings, like, “He just needed that item because he could! He’s not going to use it! I could use it, it was a huge upgrade for me!” So we feel like just going to per-player loot, almost in a Diablo sense, will help with that, because then, if you get a sword, I don’t get mad that you got the sword instead of me. Maybe we both get the sword. Maybe neither of us did.
If I'm reading it correctly it does sound like it'll be closer to the 'loot bag' system that people (like myself) had hoped for when they first announced the LFR. Not everyone gets an item, but those who do will win something they can actually use. That works for me.
I think this is the thing that frustrates me the most. Garrosh was starting to come into his own as a character at the beginning of Cata. His appearance in the Shattering, his own leader story, and the early cata questing (Ashenvale and Stonetalon come to mind) pointed to him as being a gruff but honorable warchief who genuinely looked out for his people.
Then they started doing some really random characterization with him (Twilight Highlands intro, Baine's story, Sylvanas's story).
And now, instead of fixing him, they're just going to do what they do to all Horde characters they don't like anymore, they turn him into a dungeon boss
The resolution it seems people want from LFR is a loot bag that everyone gets, a tracking system that says you cannot get more than one of the same item, or something else. I'm not sure how either of those would work in wow, or if they even can. Well the 1st one could, but I guess that's against Blizzards idea of fun, or something.
They didn't resolve the loot issue. They acknowledged what actually happens in LFR (everyone roles need on what they can use) and just redesigned the system around this. No longer can one person roll need on 2-3 items. everyone rolls need and 5 different people get an item. or whatever

I don't think it's going to be that simple.
They needed to find a way to put Thrall back on the throne, and they had a pesky problem with Garrosh. He wouldn't give up the throne, even if he was in full control of himself.
But, seeing more plot stuff from MoP, I think it's safe to assume he'll be fully corrupted by the She or Che or whatever the bad spirit force in MoP is, and you have to stop him. There's hints at some crazy war crime stuff going on during MoP, and I suspect it has to do with this.
I bet he'll end up being redeemed by the end, that you just have to stop a corrupted version of him and they'll save him and the raid isn't about throwing his plot development under the bus. But he wasn't ready to be warchief, and this way they can put thrall back, remove him and still keep him to progress and be something different down the road.
Oh and with all this MoP news coming out, if anyone is feeling the itch and wants a scroll, send me a pm either with your bnet ID (email) or a character/server if you don't feel comfortable with that.
No, I created a level 1 druid, logged out after the opening cutscene, and then went into my account options and boosted him to 80 without issue, so there's no level requirement on it.

I still really doubt it's the real garrosh as where is Suarfang? and his threat? Why does he look all roid raged' when in parts of Northrend it's still the good old cry in a fire one in boren tundra and a few other places { in northrend at the tourney it's roid rage}
Why did Garona say he smelled not like a orc but something else familar....
I doubt they are going to put Thrall in charge of the Horde again

Thanks. So that's Blizzard's "Soon" rather than a human "soon" ? Guess I'll get back to planning how to re-capture Omega.

I don't think Saurfang is going to have much to do with it. I'm sure he'll be part of the story, but I don't think he's "behind" whatever with Garrosh.
And don't be so sure about Thrall not being warchief again. Metzen has pretty much said as much in the past, that Thrall is the Warchief, so I imagine they were thinking of the best way to get him back there after Cata. I'm sure during the course of MoP he'll see that in order to bring balance to Azeroth, he can do more leading the Horde than trying to be some insubstantial "world shaman". And help lead the movement to take back Orgrimmar from Garrosh. I imagine Saurfang will be the "commander" in charge of the raid.

Way before then. July at the latest.
I'm still going to say that's SUPER optimistic for release. I just looked through my guild's forum, and the first one of us to get into Cata beta was July 2nd, so roughly 5 months before release. My guess is September.

Nah. As pessimistic as I can be of Blizzard, there are a few reasons why Cataclysm won't go into Q4:
-According to what was posted in the reveal today, all but two of the new zones in pandaria are feature-complete. We'll be beta testing quite soon, April I'd expect. Maybe May at the latest.
-Five levels of content, no major world redesign to delay things
-Zero new content planned between now and then (save for the 5.0 lead-in). Even WotLK had Ruby Sanctum as an (attempted) gap-filler. Nothing like that is coming here.
-Many subs already lost due to boredom. Making people wait that much longer will cause the hemorrhage to continue and investors no likey.
So yeah, probably July. Maybe August at the latest but that would surprise me.
