Someone just laughed at me for saying I could take a solo lane with Karma and made me duo lane without the items for it.
Then he lost his lane hard and left. So we lost.

Karma mid lane is a weird choice because I don't see what she could do with the solo farm, but she shouldn't be free kills if the player is even half-decent. Karma has a lot of tech to get herself out of sticky spots.
Karthus is the only mid champ I consider free gold - not because he's a bad champ, but because bad players seem to be attracted to him (Annie can be the same way, because bad players get used to stomping with her and are caught off-guard when you harass them).
Twitch is scary period. Yeah he got nerfed to fuck, but since no one plays stealth characters in solo queue anymore, people forgot how to play against him. God help you if he catches an early lead. The good news is an oracle absolutely wrecks him by the time the team fight phase breaks out.

Duo bottom is mostly for dragon control; if you run 1 bot and 2 top, you're allowed the opposing tea to have more guys in position to take dragon.
Since you have 2 guys bot for that reason, and one in the jungle, that just leaves 1 guy to cover mid and another to cover top.
You could try to run 2 mid and 1 solo bot, I guess.

You run two bot because it gives you stronger dragon control. The meta-game basically converges to the most efficient team strategy, which is why people rarely question the standard roles. There's something to be said for bucking the trend and using the element of surprise, but I don't think its sustainable over the long term.

Gonna try streaming some more solo ranked. Something went weird earlier and the stream kind of shit itself. So yea, Round two of ranked begins now, I hope I can get back at 1200+ since I'm sitting at 1199 right now.

That's usually not true either. A couple, maybe, but it's generally zoning that is her primary "fuck you." Why you only have 20 CS at 10 minutes, cho?

I think it has a lot to do with his switch to mainly Eu, he's been on a tear in S2. His NA account is still like 1600 tho.

just had a nuts ranked that went for 70 minutes, pulled out a win. i went mid with morg and had a farm off with miss fortune, i'm not that great, so i didn't get any kills, but i had RoA and sorc at 16, and deathcap at 26. we couldn't hardly push, but having 12 people with full items is pretty damn crazy, we finally got all their inhibs, then got baron, and managed to get the kill. after that, i think the biggest problem with morg is how easy she farms. her damage isn't through the roof late unless the other team was denied a lot of farm, at least compared to other AP carries. probably the best game i've ever played.
Just won a game as Galio. Somehow I ended up being the only person on my team at level 18 at the end. I blame his Q one-shotting caster minions.
The new wraiths are kind of interesting, if you're laning mid you can pretty much always pop in for a quick snack while you let some of your minions die.

The Arpen is for the early kills, also synergizes with Jarvan's Q debuff.
This only really works in a kill lane. In a standard Leona support lane, it's probably something like Mpen/armor/mp5 or mr/gp5
