I tried out that renekton jungle thing in a custom game and hit level 4 by 4:25 with both buffs and about half my health
goodness I may have figured out the jungle!
Will people make fun of me if I seriously try and jungle renekton?
He's good according to Stonewall, and I concur, so they probably won't unless they are ignorant. You can probably shave a little time / damage off that clear with some work too.
If jungling is going to be something you want to do, I'd recommend flat armor yellows, as those are used on pretty much every jungler in the game, are good in laning, and are tied for the cheapest runes (200ish ip apiece).
Also, feel free to ask any questions, particularly jungle related ones.
I picked up the Bloodfury Renekton skin, but it seems that you can see his tongue through the top of his head when he is standing in the bushes. Disappointing.
Ganks: Have the lane initiate, walk in, heal if necessary, then spam Q while using E for silences (also applies red buff now ). That's the broad strokes.
Itemization:
I usually go for philo + boots 1, then Vitality stone (don't complete shurylia's too early. gp5 is cool), then merc treads (ninja tabi is 2nd choice). Later on, get Will of the Ancients (get hextech pretty early, complete as necessary), Glacial Shroud (maxes your cooldown with shurylias and masteries, complete to Frozen is useful, which it usually is), Rylai's, Abyssal.
Your AP is a little light, as is your burst, but you are hard to kill and strip any amount of MR to zero. During my game before the screenshotted one, I was able to chase Galio out of lane late game, only not killing him due to fearing a gank.
I am very excited for Viktor. Like, more excited than I have been since Riven. The guy looks like a ton of fun and will require a bunch of planning on how you build/play him from game to game. Also, he a phyrexian so there is that.
Man, I've said it before and I'll say it again: Riot really needs to hire some professional writers. It was fine back in the open beta, but now that they're trying to roll with the big boys this flavourless flavour text is starting to get off-putting.
And cleaning up. I use to think I was pretty decent and just kept getting shit teams, but I realize after watching him utterly fuck people up in solo queue that I am in fact, an utter scrub.
We invaded, charmed soraka for first blood. Stayed in their blue bush. Soraka revived and came back and they tried to dislodge us from there and we got 4 more kills. They then decided all 5 mid.
Also, Envy said he would random and jungle any champ he got, including Anivia. He got Anivia.
So according to the 'official tier list' on the LOL forums Garen should have been our best player, not our worst. We also should have been rolled.
Huh, imagine that. The ironic thing is the entire game Garen was running around like a dumb slob, and when he would die alone or in a team fight he would gripe at us. I save his life and kill Katarina? God Lux you fail. Could have killed them both if you weren't such a dumb bitch.

Come from the bottom of the map as they are doing dragon. Nunu and Garen try to break it up without me, they die. I come in, chase away Tryndamere, kill Katarina, and steal dragon from Warwick. Later, I steal dragon from them again. Again, i suck and am the worst Lux ever.

My three deaths were from dropping their inhibitor knowing I would get raped after, getting caught because of pathfinding, and Katarina retroactively using shunpo to avoid a snare that would have been the win. The pathfinding error? Minion in my way convinced Lux that going BACK and NORTH into the bushes was the best way to go RIGHT down the lane. That stupid crap actually got me and Nunu killed and cost us a turret... as opposed to getting an ace.
And cleaning up. I use to think I was pretty decent and just kept getting shit teams, but I realize after watching him utterly fuck people up in solo queue that I am in fact, an utter scrub.
Edit: Well actually now he's up against a competent team and not doing so hot with jungle pantheon. Though his team is absolute shit.

A pro team is putting together a tournament where you have to be under 1375 rank to play. If you survive the ladder you get to play said pro team.

Riven leaves after dying in a teamfight. I win a 2v1 on bottom when they're both ~100% hp and I'm ~25% - more on that later.
I'll never play ranked again. 100% win rate.
