The getting yelled at problem isn't half as bad in DOTA2 as it is in league of legends. Clearly that mostly has to do with it being a limited beta with a much smaller sample of assholes. But you will be fine, and if people start getting uppity, muting them is easy to do.

As Invoker. Tons of losses with me trying to support, and I finally win with one of the least noob friendly heroes of all. I think I like him too, and I'll be sad when empnado doesn't work anymore.

so this game needs a concede option. you cant have an anti-AFK function and no concede function. I shouldnt have to march into the jaws of death over and over again untilt the other team is satisfied and decides to push. Its fuckin stupid to have to play out an utter stomping. If my whole team agrees its over, why cant we concede and leave? I forgot after years of HoN how much I HATED having to play out these losses.

Still crashing on 3 out of 4 computers. So weird. The only one that seems to run it is my roomate's Alienware (laptop), and his desktop is WAY more powerful than that thing. All drivers updated, yadda yadda haven't heard back from valve yet.
so after my 6-0-11 win as witchdoc its 3 losses in a row.... I blame myself for not getting level 2 veno ult till 14. yeah. that'll do it... oh yeah and feeding riki solo as mirana. man I'm bad.

The scoreboard is annoyingly huge, but on the upside it isn't there all the time and the focus on getting a good kdr kinda goes away, at least for me.

yup! I mean... the whole post is my opinion man. Nothing snarky to say about the concede vote?
@ hadoken, it is kinda nice to have your stats tucked away. but its useful to know when allied ults are up, or how much gold theyre holding, and other such stuff.
No snarky comment about concede because everyone's been over that and nobody wants to go over it again.

I use that too, but its nice to see how many seconds left till that crucial enigma ult, or how close doom is to his relic or whatever. maybe its just me but I find myself checking the scoreboard a fair bit for things other than my score. though, again, the huge size of the scoreboard sort of discourages having it open all the time or tracking one's score closely, which is actually nice. maybe put the non-score info on the portraits on top? is it there? maybe hover over menus?
also: theres no ingame way to track ones GPM while playing right? that'd be useful
people seem remarkably even-tempered compared to HoN. and I don't think I've run into a team of incomprehensible, terrible foreign players yet.

Was in a game last night with some when me and Khac did a few rounds. One of them was busy playing with their mic in the spawn for about the first 5 mins. I was crystal maiden in lane with tide hunter, I harassed the enemy a ton and gave him so many chances to get a kill with my slow and freeze... eventually he went for a kill when I wasn't close by and gets killed. Then all I see in chat is "blah blah crystal maiden, blah blah"... he did this a few times... another foreign player in top lane fed just the same, blaming khac (enigma) for not doing whatever he thought he was supposed to do in order to magically keep him alive.

I would like to see the ULT indicators switch over to a little countdown timer when the ULTs are on cooldown. I'm for any improvements that can be made to help team synergy without affecting the overall balance of the game.
Showing peoples GPM realtime would probably hurt team chemistry more than help, I think it should stay in the spectator realm.
I'm going back to -AP (all pick) until they implement a swap function, -SD (single draft) isn't the same without it. Too many players get pigeonholed into heroes they can't play and it results in headaches.
